Not sure if its SM or its more Sunny and also Taeyeon just not accepting to do many magazine covers. Taeyeon would definitely get many chances to be on the cover of magazines because she has the most fans in SNSD, but she doesn't seem to do that many and same thing with Sunny over the years.

It is because they are shorter, so magazine discriminate them hahaha I am kidding! About SM I kidding too, everyone always blames SM about everything, so I blame them too! hahaha

It's insulting in a way though. They aren't robots who can just be recreated and he kind of reduces them to a basic formula of pretty women who can sing. If that was all that was needed, then why aren't so many other girls groups at their level...

 

Why always think bad, instead of seeing the positive side of things, there is nothing derogatory in the words of Yang Hyun Suk, who talking about robots, they are the model for the new generation of girl groups as that can be bad.

 

SNSD: beautiful and charismatic women who sing well, the winning formula, what is wrong with that. Beauty and talent in one group!

 

And those words come from the rival company CEO who publicly claims to be jealous of not being able to create a group like SNSD is quite commendable and you'll excuse me but kpop groups are created including SNSD (most pop artists around the world are created, US or Russia for example not have SM or YG but have Disney and Nickelodeon or Star Factory so its the same), pop is not rock from 60, 70 and 80 when neighborhoods friends make a rock band and were launched to stardom!

 

And also there are recreated groups, not mean they are the same but they are similar example: 'N Sync and Backstreet Boys were created in the likeness of pop groups before them and after they were created similar groups to them, The Wanted is Backstreet Boys number 2 with XXI century style, is part of the business not a bad thing and does not mean they are robots because each group has its personal touch.

I wasn't being negative. I was being realistic. He often shades his own groups and in past interviews I feel like he takes certain slights at SNSD. Never anything outright mean-spirited but he always attributes their success to their beauty. I'm saying they are more than that. It also seems like he values them for their success, rather than as a group.  

 

I never said groups weren't created. I clearly know that. Anyone who likes kpop knows that. I said he can't recreate the same formula because SNSD is a group of individuals. What makes them so great is their talent, beauty, charisma, dorkiness, and most importantly their bond. Not every group has that same spark with one another. If SNSD could be recreated, groups like 9 Muses and After School would be famous. These are groups with beautiful women and are talented but they haven't reached SNSD's level of success.

 

 

Everyone understands things his way, we read the same but we draw different conclusions.

 

He talks about the formula SM used to create SNSD (pretty girls who sing well), he does not want to clone SNSD, why people always go to extremes, he sees SNSD as a model for their new girl group! The different charismas of SNSD members is a bonus that only SNSD can have, and that everyone knows it. He is a business man how is not going to value SNSD for their success, fans are those who value the groups for what they are.

 

Why you blind, he spoke not only about of the SNSD beauty, he said is a group whit pretty girls who sing well!

 

SNSD if it can be recreated, yourself just give examples, that does not mean that these groups may have the same fame than SNSD. They speak about the formula no about the success! The formula: Pretty girls who sing well, not SNSD clone, when SNSD debuted this was the formula or do not you remember what suffered SNSD between 2007 and 2008, their charms personalities came later!

 

Nobody will take my happiness that YG CEO is jealous for SNSD, and how important it is SNSD for kpop.

2. I never said he wants to clone them but he does want to make an SNSD-like group and I feel that will be hard if the only formula he picked up was pretty and talented because like we both said, many have tried it. 

3. Why say I'm blind when start off with a very correct statement? We just understood him differently. I am just being a bit more cynical about his statement.

4. I'm not trying to take anything from you. You're the first one that mentioned the news on this thread and I quoted you and then responded to YG's statement, not your happiness. You can be happy about his jealousy. Also, I'm not saying he's not jealous. I also think he is jealous that he had no hand in creating such a successful girl group.

 

If you took my words personally, then I'm sorry. I was only talking about YG's statement, not you.

Today I realized that I am a bad Sone and I have to improve, because I'm not happy with the news that TTS are those who throw an album in english, always dreamed it would be all the SNSD girls. I really hope they have success, although I think the first album in english should have been the whole group, for that the album be successful Sones have to buy, it is highly unlikely that the U.S. general public the starts to get serious until that sales are high because of Sones, and we all know that internationally Sones are divided into nine parts and not all were launched to buy the album because his bias is not there. I do better Sone and I'll be the first to buy the album, but I'm not happy.

 

Do not take my comment the wrong way, is what I feel.

I don't understand why ppl are not liking the tts release. ESP with seohyun. I think they make a great trio. I think ppl are just butt hurting!! TTS=SNSD!! Just as the three girls promoted it!! No seriously.. Why the butt hurt?

That some of us are not happy is not because TTS will release an album in english (I'm sure there's going to be great and we will support them) but because the other six girls will not be in it! How long have the international Sones waiting for the SNSD english album? This is not a matter of bias, one of my bias is Taeyeon but like many others it's that I wish to see them all on this album, and to shut up the mouths of all which said they were too large group to debut in U.S., seems SM neither believed feasible that.

If I had a choice, it would always be an album with all 9, regardless of the language. But we don't know that SM scratched an English album with all 9 of them. They've been working on it for so long and there have been multiple tweets from American producers (such as Sean Garret) saying that they've been working with SNSD on some new material. Just because there is an English album (no word yet on if it's just the Twinkle mini in English or a new album) from TTS does not mean we won't get a OT9 album.

Sunny's been nominated for Best Actress at the 19th Korean Musical Awards but you need a ssn to register to vote for her.

 

I doubt she'll win but its awesome she's been nominated.

 

I hope SM let her go to the awards gala. It's amazing Sunny last year was nominated for best new actress in the 6th The Musical Awards and this year best actress in 19th Korean Musical Awards WOW!
