This is actually one of the few recent SNSD songs that I know I can jam to. So yep definitely not complaining. Happy and fun Soshi is what makes me became a fan (Gee/Himnae era). So I'm really happy they're still releasing songs like these to please some of their fun loving fans.

 

Will definitely be buying this single, especially since Beep Beep (which I prefer way more than Flower Power) is the bonus. Just hoping Lingua Franca is awesome as well now.

I used to find  a lot of good ones but its been a whie ;/

I find Milk Moustache really draggy, and the first few seasons were written rather poorly. Not sure about now, I kinda dropped reading that a year ago.

Yeah I can't wait to hear Do the Catwalk too. The pre orders for GS seem pretty good, it has been inside the top 10 of amazonjp for 2 days now and I don't think Love & Girls ever entered the top 10. So yeah I think it will sell fairly well, I hope they will perform this song live. Go on Music Japan at least if Music Station is still blacklisting Koreans.

When do you think the blacklisting of Korean's will end? I would like if if they're able to promote their 3rd album properly.

Hard to tell since it's political related, but I don't think it's anytime soon. I know all the other music shows doesn't rake in as high a rating as Musta but it's a pity they don't get the chance to perform their Japanese songs on live stages. So I hope they consider going to smaller music shows such as Music Japan, Music Fair, Music Dragon, etc. 

 

I also doubt UMJ would go all out in promotion like they did for the 1st album but I also wish the promotion for their next album will be better than the 2nd album.

Anyway I didn't get to watch the concert cause of work related stuff that I can't fly out from my place to Jakarta. But two of my friends (the gf isn't a Sone) actually said they really enjoyed the concert. I have voiced out my disappointment towards their recent performances and stages a lot of times before but after hearing those opinions from people who matter (to me) I will give them the benefit of the doubt until I actually experienced it for myself. So I guess watching the fancam and being there in person are two very different situations. I just hope they will fulfill their promise and return.

It's not just GS though. They didn't promote Love&Girls either. I follow AKB48 and they release 5 singles each year (though they only have one original album sans their best of and stage ones) BUT they literally promote them on every music show there is. I know that a couple of Japanese networks have banned Korean acts from appearing, but there are several other shows they could appear in order to promote their singles.

I don't know, I just find the way they are handling them in Japan really messy.

LOL you can't compare SNSD to AKB level of promotion in Japan. 

 

AKB practically appears everywhere when they're promoting a single because of their status nowadays. When I used to follow them I remember it wasn't necessarily easy for the other 48 groups like SKE to appear on shows before Pareo wa Emerald and if I'm not mistaken neither SKE nor NMB have ever been invited to Music Station yet. SNSD's condition nowadays isn't like how it used to be before the political tension, they can't be guaranteed to appear in music/variety shows anymore, so I was pleasantly surprised when they were actually invited to Waratte Ittomo during GS promotion. So yeah don't compare their style of TV promotions to the likes of AKB, compare them to fellow KPop acts, which imo is actually pretty normal, despite SNSD doesn't appear in low rating music shows like Music Dragon.

Son Yejin talked about her friendship with Gong Hyojin & Yoona on a radio show today. The three of them went to LeeSsang's concert together.

The three of them have been close friends for a while now. Gong Hyojin previously talked about how she was introduced to Yoona by Son Yejin.

Ah I backtracked to find another usual Tiffany sucks Jessica FTW comments. So no Documentary you're not the only one who felt that way. Tiffany in a fashion show = 'Should have been Sooyoung/Jessica', Tiffany interviewing international stars = 'Why can't Jessica do it' Tiffany singing a duet = 'Should have been Jessica/Taeyeon'

 

If these users are purely just 'criticizing' those unnecessary 'should have been' shouldn't even be written in the first place. So yes I definitely agree with your sentiments. 

 

On a merrier note, can't wait for their Japanese album, their last J-album is awesome so definitely can't wait for that so that they can redeem themselves after their disastrous Korean album this year.

This year is Tiffany year. I dont know what else Tiffany fans want. Tiffany has been given chance to interview two hollywood actors. Tiffany has the most magazine photoshoot. Tiffany has the most lines in 2nd Japanese album. Tiffany has been given more lines than Jessica, Sunny and seohyun. Tiffany also stands in the middle frequently. Tiffany is in tv programme .  Tiffany has her own sub-unit. Tiffany sang in baseball game.

 

Then they are not satisfied and now they are complaning how other fans critized Tiffany. They should grateful that Tiffany has all these chance.

 

To that Tiffany fan..tell me what Jessica did this year and last year? Did she appear in any sub-unit?

 

Even since debut, Tiffany is ahead of Jessica in anything. People love Tiffany's eyes smile..But what Jessica has? She was hated by antis and fangirls hated her. She even was given title ice princess and Sica effect. That why now Jessica is not really talkative.

 

I hope that Tiffany fan, not just thinking about Tiffany but other members too. She/he should feel happy that Tiffany is loved by SM.

LOL so just because Tiffany is more loved by SME her fans aren't allowed to voice dislike over how other fans of the girls seemed to take a jab at whatever she does these days? So just because she's active we need to just sit back while others are free to insult her? Funny, I wonder if they would say the same thing when their bias are being treated like this.

 

Can you point me when did any Tiffany fan started this (or just thinking about her)? Though some users definitely are thinking about their bias no matter if their comments basically disregard anything Tiffany does over and over. This isn't the first time as well, most Tiffany fans I know just stay silent whenever she's bashed but now when some user speaks up s/he isn't allowed because they should just feel grateful that Tiffany is active 

 

I guess to some people it's Tiffany's fault that Jessica is less outgoing or driven, and it's totally her fault that Jessica is jobless

I've been in the fandom since 2009 and no Jessica isn't the fandom's punching bag. It used to be Yoona even if she hasn't made any slip ups. Nowadays it's Tiffany and Taeyeon, because of their Taeny fans, because Taeyeon is mean to Jessica, and other shallow reasons. When Jessica's lazy people defend her for it, when she pulls a bitchy face people say she's not like that, when she's blunt fans will defend her for just saying that's her 'queen' personality. I know her personality isn't like her stoic face and I'm glad that many fans including those who aren't just Jessica fans defend her because from fanaccounts etc she is a sweet nice girl. But damn, one occasion of Tiffany not giving her best resulted into pages and pages of insults and how she's not passionate enough. Her personality is loud and outgoing and yet people seem to condemn her for that. She's one of the members with many fanaccounts saying how nice and approachable she is in real life yet fans still say she's a bitch and attention whore for being all smiles. 

 

Also fashion is something visual yet many seems to think Tiffany isn't cut out for it, when in fact if anyone watched Factory Girl she's one of the most hardworking member in those episodes. So no the visual isn't something technical excuse didn't stop from people taking a jab at Tiffany.  

 

And yes I agree with Lenalee I'm glad some Tiffany fans are starting to be vocal about this. Who knows how much longer this unnecessary 'should have been' type of comments will last even after we've voiced out our dislike. I'll end my rant here.

For someone who said s/he knows the girls before black ocean, you sure did change your opinion a lot. Before it's Jessica who is the punching bag but now it's Hyoyeon. LOLOL such a consistent statement   Before I get a headache I should just put this user on ignore.

 

I just read about Seohyun and Tiffany attending a radio program, so I guess it's TTS who is coming back. Can't wait Twinkle mini was better than any SNSD Korean releases after Hoot mini album

Thanks for that. Nice to hear they sang Stay Girls and AMLIFY live and the GS and L&G fanchants sounds fun. I guess these kind of events and concerts are the only places to sing their Japanese songs. Hopefully they'll do a live viewing on YT too one day.

Aww I'm happy to see the ratings increased for Yoona's drama, I surely do hope it will continue to climb up. I've watched episode 1 and 2 and it's definitely much more entertaining than Love Rain. Haven't watched episode 3 but I hope the plot still progresses nicely.

 

Despite driven by gimmicks, still congrats for the sales of Love and Peace. Now I'm just hoping for a much better 3rd Japanese Tour production (choreography, costume, energy, etc) than the 2nd one.
