Seriously though, I think Fany did learn something from Sica's fail pitch: there's no such thing as bad publicity. Had she actually pitched well, people probably would have forgotten about it already and wouldn't even mention it again. But because of her fail, all of these news publications are putting out stories about her, introducing SNSD to tons of people who have never heard of them. And really, who can hate on someone that adorable?

She probably purposely didn't practice for it (or practiced with Sica lol).

Fun fact: Hyoyeon has around 1/6 of the followers Taeyeon does.

 

I've never understood why some "SONEs" simply don't care about Hyo compared to the other members. When Taeyeon got her account, everyone was spazzing because we finally had a legit Soshi member account on a social networking site. Everyone was like "IT'S REALLY TAENG, SHE HAS AN INSTAGRAM, I CAN'T BREATHE!!!"

When Hyoyeon got her account, those that knew about it were just like "Oh, Hyoyeon has one too? Cool." If it weren't for this thread, I wouldn't even know about her Instagram.

This makes me feel like going to various fansites and Youtube videos to promote it. Lol

Popdust kind of irks me in the way that they use Kpop groups to gain hits for their website. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Popdust was even popular until they put SNSD against 1D in their poll. I want to help SNSD win, but at the same time I don't want to contribute to that bogus site. Plus, the fans on there seem so immature. To me, that place is like AKP 2.0 with Western artists thrown in.

 

Seriously though, how can they even put SNSD, a nearly 6-year-old group with international fame, millions of albums sold, and countless awards, up against a group from Youtube that has only released one EP?

I don't really like "Love & Girls," but at the same time I don't dislike it. It's...just there.

The song is definately an earworm, though. The "Na na na na na, na na na Love and Girls," has been stuck in my head since seeing the preview. I now understand what SM meant when they said it was experimental. Though the MV is cute and colorful, I don't think there's any other Soshi song that has this incredibly simple feel to it.

 

Don't forget, we still have "Lingua Franca" to wait for.

There was story about Yuri, Sooyoung, Jessica, Yoona, and Hyoyeon sneaking out to an amusement park and they had to wear masks to disguise themselves.

How many of you think Jessica and Taeyeon are not on good terms? Just curious. I'm personally not really sure. Ofc, they don't seem as close as they were in their earlier days but  I don't know. It may be just lack of on screen interactions? But then again, these two hardly ever appear on each other's SNS. 

I hope it's nothing and fans are just overreacting tbh.

 

I would start a thread about this but last thing I want is non Sones throwing shade once again. The bashing and rant about users threads are bad enough.

 

I always thought Taengsic troubles were exaggerated as a joke among various shippers, and then that joke was blown out of proportion by others who didn't know. I actually never noticed any friction between the two until SONEs started saying "Taengsic is over," and making memes and fan videos about it. It's kind of like when SONEs always used to call Sica lazy because she loves sleep, and then others took the joke as her actually being lazy and not appreciative of her position and status. Basically, I don't think it was a serious thing until people made it into one.

 

I don't think it's that they dislike each other, but maybe that they just don't talk as much as they use to. They may have grown apart.

 

I agree that it's weird Sica's not going to the U.S., but it's possible she may have had a previous schedule.

Thinking back to Tiffany's interview with Mnet America earlier this year, maybe the TTS album is actually like the lead-in to the full English album.

 

She said "We have another album with the trio, and then an album with the 9." (or along those lines).

 

Seems kind of plausible now.
