I feel like TVXQ works so hard in Japan though. On the other hand, I think AVEX handles promotion way better than UMJ.

 

I'm not shocked of hearing this postpone, but I still feel kinda angry.

 

Avex is not that great. They really don't promote kpop artists well until they are a proven hit. And they really half ass promotions a lot.

 

I think UMJ has been better overall, despite some issues.

Yeah, I agree that AVEX won't promote until the artist is definitely popular. But, I do see TVXQ appearing in more music shows and variety programs. I think Soshi's command of Japanese might be a factor as to why they aren't appearing in more shows.

 

It's just that I feel like the direction UMJ has been going this past year is not what I was hoping for. As much as I think the 2nd album is gold, the longevity and the album sale isn't not even close to their first album. I wonder if the economy, and the tension between Japan and Korea have anything to do with it though.

 

 

 

 

Its hard to say what UMJ/SM is doing.

 

But the market has change a bit since DBSK/BOA first got into the Japanese market, so I guess the direction has change as well. I do wish they just have them buckle down for a year in Japan, and then learn the language.
