I'm not surprised anymore. The girls have too many commitments nowadays and are too popular. No longer are we going to get them to promote for more than 1 month. Besides after winning Triple Crowns, there is really no point in prolonging the promotions. Their digitals aren't going to go back up, they don't really need the exposure anymore and it just fatigues them more. After promoting for more than one month, the performance quality dramatically degrades. Its just principal of diminishing returns. At least this will give them some time to rest for the Japanese Tour and then for whatever future projects they might be working on. Sorry if I sound like a party pooper, I'm more of a quality versus quantity type person.

nope,not a party pooper at all LOL...i keep forgetting there not the 19-20 year old girls anymore,i remember a interview were Hyoyeon said when she was younger she'd be able to go through about 5-6 songs before she gets tired,now its after 2-3 she's fatigued...i guess you can say I'm more worried that what happen last year will happen this year,they did say we'd be seeing a lot more of them in 2014 but I'm worried SM might have a change of plans then after promotions,we dont hear from them until the japanese tour then after that...nothing..lol

 

Yeah, I can relate. I'm in my 30s now and I definitely can't do the things I used to do. When I was 18, I thought I could conquer the world. Now, I'm like Jessica and just want to sleep half the time.

 

Yeah, they promised us great things last year and we really didn't get much. BTW, where is our promised English album and tour? Still waiting..... -_-

same here,when i was in my early 20's i was like speedy Gonzales i didn't know the meaning of slowing down lol now that I'm 28, and my bones crack even when i walk 3 steps,i aint got it like i used to LOL 

 

I think they gave up the hopes of an English album in 2011 after the boys didn't seem to catch the eyes of Americans like SM hoped it would,i still think they'd do an American tour but more along the lines of SM tours or K pop concerts with other idols. Sometimes i wonder if SM gives them free roam as far as maybe putting out free music,i guess you can say Mixtape sort of, like in America there are Singes who have there studio mic and recording software at home and usually record and put out songs just for the public to listen to. but that's just me wanting more music,in reality they should be resting and enjoying there free time as much as they can lol

 

we'll see if we get all things soshi this year there supposedly a TTS album sometime in the 4th quarter of the year and sooyoung said a full album,she didn't specify if it was a Japanese album or a Korean album,I'm hoping its a Korean album since they just released the Japanese album not to long ago.

 

I think they gave up on that too prematurely. You can't just do 2 American shows and call it a day. Also, you can't just do an English version of their Korean song. That doesn't work either. I think they would do well if they did an original English song. Or at least come back to the US for another concert. Its been like almost 2 years I believe. Seriously jealous of Sones in Asia.

Well, I hope they go for the music they like instead, especially since they know what they want and it's impossible to predict what the public will like anyway.

 

According to the general belief, digital ranking is a good indication of the general public's response to the song, and if we go by this logic, then we can say that the songs people expect from them are like "Gee" and "Oh"--praying that it doesn't happen, PLEASE. But back to the question, I just want them to release songs they want. Nothing beats the enjoyment of doing something you genuinely like. I don't think they would want to do something like "Gee" and "Oh" at this point, and I'm really happy when "Mr. Mr." came out.

Agreed. I seem to always agree with Taeyeon when she picks the songs that she likes the best. I loved Gee and Oh like everyone else, but I'm really glad they changed things up with The Boys->IGAB->Mr.Mr. It's really refreshing to see them change up their styles. 

Yes, as long as its new. I don't want them to recycle ideas or concepts. That's boring, especially just to cater to the general public.

It's funny how for all the supposed 2ne1 vs SNSD battle hype, they never seem to really meet head to head on music shows. Usually one or both of them were missing from the shows.

The problem is that they missed out on winning a few shows because of scheduling issues and not being there for whatever reason.

how on freaking way they have 0 broadcast point if SunHyo was in Full house guest and Sooyoung was in 1vs100? wow KBS being stingy because the girls didn't perform last week. I'm not obsessed of winning but I find that all music show now become laughable because of their unreliable criteria in charting

Yeah, the shows are pissing me off with their inconsistent rules.

 

But I think SM wasn't out to win all the shows for this comeback. I think they were satisfied with just having some wins.

The Tiffany interview was really great. I really hope that her wish for an LA/New York tour comes true. My soshi thirst for a concert in LA is real 

 

 

SM need to give snsd english album, so there is a better chance that snsd can promote in USA or at least making concert in there, so tiffany can fulfil het dream.

 

i dont care if its will flop, i just want snsd have song language that i understand, and with MV english vers, i can see the MV in my local television (not in fucking youtube) and i can show soshi to my friend who ignorant about music beside english.

I guess when you think about it, 4minute win was not too surprising. They had the highest digital in Gaon this week and that's too large a gap to overcome. Mr. Mr. is in its 5th week, so digital is no longer high enough. Either way, I enjoyed this promotion. Wished they had really pushed for the wins more, but at this point SNSD doesn't need wins to prove themselves.

i'm excited, but i feel worried about the girls. they're always so busy and tired =S

 

 

this is scary.. it's not like i'm not happy if i could be able to see snsd for the whole year but i'm concern about their stamina and healthiness.. i hope they could take some rest after the japanese tour before making another comeback. i'm so thirsty about them but i don't wanna be selfish..

I think they will have plenty of breaks, especially within the Japanese tour.

 

And if we are having a World Tour, can we make sure it is a World and not just "Asia" tour? Is that too much to ask? Asia already has enough opportunities to see them.

no.. they came to indonesia last year and i couldn't go to see their concert because of family business.. that was the first time they came to my country and i need to see them more and be able to attend their concert this time.. when will you?

 That sucks! They definitely need to go to the less popular countries.

 

Also, they just performed in Vietnam, I think they were there in 2010 too. Also, didn't they perform during IGAB last year in Phillipines? They just don't do a full concert, but they do perform there. I'm in the US, but both times were part of SM Town, so never a full concert either. But Korea and Japan get full concerts? Unfair
