dropping by for a quick hello and fighting! for this thread. i used to look at the h8 thread and enjoyed the pictures videos and gifs. after it disappeared i tried the allkpop thread but found it very messy with unncessary spam... somehow the people or format of this thread is so much neater. i don't know. maybe it's also the people? felt kind of teenage populated which induced more spam. not hating just wanting a neat thread to follow pictures and media of the girls ^^

Nobody in Korea cares for Sooyoung or Hyoyeon though. They are perpetually ignored because Korean people can't see talent, beauty and personality on any level hence why "others" who lack these qualities are constantly paid attention to by fans over the divine Sooyoung and Hyoyeon. The injustice is real. 

 

i don't think you should be too worried! this may be a little misplaced. i think i saw an article on netizenbuzz? posted a few days/weeks ago about top females with the most CFs and of course Suzy was first then Yoona and I recall Sooyoung tied for fourth place with 13 CFs/CF contracts so yeah. and yeah kind of bummed you didn't mention sunny i think her talent in various arenas are overlooked in so many ways.

 

 

thanks for all the welcomes i was redbeanmochi in h8 but i posted very few times so i don't think anyone will remember haha. i want to make relevant posts but i don't get to pictures fast enough and they are always posted before i can swipe em onto here! taengstagram makes my heart melt. why does taeyeon call sunny sunny-ki? i like to think she's shorhanding sunny-aniki (lbrotha in japanese) because dandyu are seriously bros for life. i got a tear when i saw taeyeon's message and pic of her and possibly crunk sunny together. i'm happy that they have each other to fall back on especially since taeyeon gets depressed quite often ):.

i never would have put the two together without all the evidence which made me think it was all possible but still unknown (although the years of couple items are pretty solid to me) but what cemented it for me was the CD messages Fany and Khun mysteriously gave, Khun to the "Young One" and Fany never wanting to be without "Kay" anyway you can sift through all their evidence in the article and the comments have a LOT more

her tattoo says Young, which could just be her putting her name on her arm to signify miyoung and that's she's young and wants to show this sort of carefree style OR we could see it as a nickname she may be called for code or just as a couple thing as seen in the comment of Silly Little Young One

 

reminds me of how idols have said they do signs/things on air directed at their bf/gf but it's vague enough to just be fanservice - this could be their subtle way of showing some love to each other without being too out in the open

back in 2009 when I got into kpop i loved watching any show with SNSD and found 2pm through SNSD (idol army) and really liked taecyeon and jaebum. and i shipped taec and sunny so much, the most out of the lovelines for that episode. (jaysica was a close second). of course as time went on my fondness for 2pm through watching their idol army etc faded due to many things and then it became a taecyeon - yoona era in the news and eventually i lost any liking for 2pm esp after jay left and i still like jay. now my feelings about taecyeon are lukewarm but i love sunny too much and she's really shippable so my love for her transcends my apathy towards taec and makes me ship them. so it makes me happy to see their interaction. taec is not bad when he has sunny by his side. random but yeah.

How many of you think Jessica and Taeyeon are not on good terms? Just curious. I'm personally not really sure. Ofc, they don't seem as close as they were in their earlier days but  I don't know. It may be just lack of on screen interactions? But then again, these two hardly ever appear on each other's SNS. 

I hope it's nothing and fans are just overreacting tbh.

 

I would start a thread about this but last thing I want is non Sones throwing shade once again. The bashing and rant about users threads are bad enough.

 

i backtracked and read this so i hope i'm not bringing up unwanted conversation but i wanted to throw in my two cents. i have to first say i'm more of a casual fan of SNSD. i like em, have my favorites, but when it comes to kpop and korean entertainment, my biases are under ten. i love variety shows and most my favorites were garnered through watching variety. at the end of the day i love those who can make me laugh ie i fell in love with sunny and hyuna through invincible youth, YOO JAE SUK through everything, etc.

 

at a certain point both jessica and taeyeon were my biases and taeyeon still is (but she's gotten a bit darker over the years which is sad to see) and jessica i like still but don't follow much anymore. looking at their interactions as time has gone on... you know you see all the fancams and something is definitely up start japan tour #1. and that's the thing, people change. some girls you will be friends with forever, some maybe you were honestly meant to drift with but still be amicable with.

 

i kind of feel like it's one of those things... i am thinking of a person in particular in my life where we ended on sort of bad terms. there was no huge fight but things were said to others and we never had a confrontation but just ended up not talking anymore. it's been years now and i wish we could just have a talk to sort out our misunderstandings but that has gotten harder as time has gone on. i wish i could resolve things with her, just a talk would do but honestly it would just be for closure? like i have no bad feelings towards her but i don't think we would be friends again after that. i think it's possible taengsic's situation is a bit similar? seems like something bad happened and taeyeon seems like the type to bottle things in so distance was created and i don't know if they ever ended up talking about it, i feel like offstage they wouldn't have to talk if they don't choose to and this awkward distance, whether or not they talked out their feelings has changed things. i don't think either of them hate the other but it's one of those complicated relationships. and it's also difficult because they're both really close to some of the same people (tiffany, sunny, yoona) so it shouldn't but it might cause some tension as well. anyway i think in the end they grew up together and have had so many unique experiences together that their red strings of fate can't be untangled that easily but as of now they aren't the closest. maybe they will reconcile and talk about it in a decade or so on a talk show? haha.

 

ps: it's kind of awkward when you read their glances throughout the time following their fallout. taeyeon has had the same frozen smile regarding jessica. jessica used to look sad/wanting to change how it's been but now she looks if anything a bit... angry? at least apathetic. idk but this is just me looking at their expressions and nothing concrete.

 

pps. seohyun has been looking extra sexy for months. something is up (;

This^ when I wrote it was crazy of SM choosing Sunny over Sica, my opposition was this and still is.

It never crossed my mind that the delusional fans of Taeyeon and Jessica will be up in arms because like

always they think only their Unnies can sing. Take it from someone who lives here, the national anthem

has been sung with different voices, if the performer does an OK job nobody cares about it, only if the

performer forgets the lyrics is that makes headlines .

 

And LOL to the ones who are saying that the better option is Taeyeon and Jessica because they are better

singers; again take it from someone who lives here, nobody will be impressed with them because Americans

have listened to better singers in singing competitions like American Idol, X Factor , and The Voice than they.

 

 And yes, I am ready for the down votes.

 

I was just happy Sunny finally gets to show off her beautiful voice, i never expected such serious convo. and honestly yeah i don't think anyone is really looking to be wow-ed by vocal talent. and i don't think this is even that big of an event lol. i mean i love that they get to perform and it's a treat for us but this is not much of a dent on anything, and I don't think this is SM's crafted plan as a huge step for american advancement or anything. all the complaints about jessica.. sigh

 

i think i'm happy that SNSD is a big enough international factor that they get recognition for US activities versus most asian artists.

the three will come over, most likely fany will take the interview, sunny or taeyeon will pitch, they will all sing, mostly taeyeon (although any other combination of these things would be fine for me as well) they get to enjoy some cali sun, maybe get some good dessert, and the day is made

i've been loving all the airport/tour pictures. i wanted to bring up a topic that is slightly gossip but i was wondering if anyone had the same thoughts - on instagram hara is following yuri, taeng, and hyo but not sunny and none of them are following her back. and hyuna/sunny/hara aren't following each other except hara for hyuna (my invincible youth feels are broken but i understand they might drift since it's been a long time and they're all busy) but i wonder if something happened? about hara not being followed, etc. not like it's an extreme matter but i'm just sad because i'm always on the lookout for sunnyxfriends

There's a way to disable sigs in your settings. Go to settings -> ignore preferences and there's a box at the top you can hit to disable all sigs

 

You can also put your desktop in mobile mode if you go to the bottom left corner of the page. Click where it says "Change Theme" and hit mobile.

there were other nice outfits when they went slightly boyscout/hip hop with the majority of their stages but i think i would say only jessica and maybe tiffany/sunny/sometimes yuri got consistently nice looking outfits for those
