About L&G, It's refreshing to see them release a light-hearted single like this again. I admit i've been wanting one of these for a while now, and now that I see it, I realise how much they've grown lol. However, that doesn't mean i don't appreciate it. It's fun, and once again proves versatile snsd. It's out of a box, they look like they're having a really good time, fan interaction, drag queens, these are all pros lol. the song is average but it's such an earworm.  dat drag queen looking smiley.

Oh yah, I wanna bring out another topic that got me thinking..

I know the whole "awards-arent-everything blah blah", but who are we kidding, it's the bragging right of a fandom. So I'm wondering why SM doesn't pull another 2010 & release more than one album in a year. I know there could be a lot of reasons, with the girls being busy dominating all over the world. But, we, most importantly SM, know Soshi can slay anyone if they just choose to & nab daesangs left&right. I understand that the girls are busy, but it really is not hard to release a repackage when they have a gazillion songs already recorded, considering SM even let Mr. Taxi Korean "MV" be released, & maybe promote for 2 weeks. I dont really know what's going behind the scenes, but what is bugging me is that SM knows SNSD have this power, and yet they choose not to exercise it

 

it's like SM takes Korea for granted sometimes  

 

I also wish they would still do that but the issue is that they are trying to even it out between Japan and korea and the rest of the world. Yes i feel like sometimes their korean popularity is taken for granted lol. Tbh, I really wanted snsd to do a repackage of IGAB around this time of a really mellow spring song. Something like romantic street or baby maybe would be perfect. From what i've seen, the korean public like that softer stuff and pretty sure that would rake in awards (but personally idc much about that)

All we know is that they're releasing another 9 member album (probably the english one but I'm starting to wonder when there will be time for that) theres also the japanese single coming out soon, and then TTS which may even be postponed. 

 

 

@JackP That Heaven performance TT_TT i also like to think that Jessicas voice is still capable of that regardless of the constant higher pitched songs she's been doing. I'm pretty sure I heard some of it in Heart Road last year. I hope she's given the opportunity to sing deeper songs soon.

 

I liked Twinke so I'm excited for their comeback too. It would be awesome if we got a sunsica duo one day though, even just one song. Also Taengsic.

This is random but ever since AMLIFY came out I've always wondered who does the adlib thing at 3 minutes (in the MV)? it sounds a bit high pitched. It sounds like Yuri to me because it just doesn't sound like anyone else and like if it is... then she needs more adlibs asap.

Imagine if they used the DC outfits in this tour o.o :Q__________ but since they would be hard to perform in for too long, plenty of the igab clothes throughout promotions are better than the pink figure skating ones and the tootoo ones (hell bring back those green and black ones from 2jtour)! I hope, and wish that snsd (if they aren't content with this) have a talk with sm tbh. I mean, I don't get it. Didn't SM see that Baby Maybe was high in digital sales? Why not put that in instead of filler Say yes or something lmfao. Hoot as an opening is questionable, FP would have been better but I'm not fussed. If Hoot was a remix that would have been awesome. The production was poor and rushed for this concert. I don't know when the next dates are but I hope SM sees the dissatisfaction and touch up the tour before they enter the critical west. All it needs is a change of outfit and replace those filler songs that don't even have choreo with better ones that also don't have choreo so the girls don't have to learn anything new. I guess we are finally getting the SUJU treatment hey? Was bound to happen sometime I guess. 
The best thing about this tour is the girls and ITNW lol.

I like arguments here (unless it involved bashing. das not nice :( OT9 yall   no but really.) They're entertaining and Stormbreaker + dmn = otp.  
Oh and can i just freaking say that Tears acapella was the most beautiful thing like seriously. I've been wishing they would sing that along with honey for ages. It was beautiful ;-; and horray for Sunny OST. wishes come true lol. By the way did anyone notice the flawless harmonizing of taengsic in acepella baby baby near the end? O.O Dis why we need one duet!

Honestly about the whole debate thing though. I DO think that people are over estimating the stability SNSD has or i should say will have. They only release one god damn song a year in Korea and although they are miiiillesss away from being touched by other girl groups, if SM keeps continuing on this route, their DOMESTIC popularity will end quicker (2-3 years). However, whether their popularity everywhere is diminishing? I think i can disagree tbh. It looks to me like their international popularity is increasing. And whether SNSD has hit their peak, honestly they just need the right song. I think they can hit another height in korea but only if they actually stay promoting in korea for at least 6 months next year or something. SM should do this soon with the power they have now. And by that I mean album and re-pacakge. The girls' interests are my best interests which is why I don't want them to go back to basic ass hook songs that make them sound super immature; that doesn't mean they have to do something extremely risky like IGAB (which i like though) but SNSDs strength lies with the fandom and the korean general public, why not keep it that way? Which leads me to my next point! SNSD need to do something new and if it DOESN'T go well they need to do a repackage and release something a bit safer to calm the waters again soon after (something they should have done with igab) before they venture to japan for the year and etc. 

Speaking of new, how awesome would it be if SNSD used the power they have now to do something well... new. ish. I was thinking along of the lines of something a bit dark... rock influenced...quite sad... but music genre isn't what i'm talking about yet. I know that mainstream music isn't meant to be deep but WHY? Why can't it be deep? SM tried to make audience THINK about what they were listening to with IGAB because if you didn't concentrate it would hurt your brain. Why not make them think with lyrics. snsd set trends we know that. What if they made a title track about suicide or something, something serious in korea? Maybe i'm over estimating them but a gurl can dream. I know they're not liked that much for the dark soshi thing there but isn't it their variety that's so appealing? After that they would release a repackaged shortly after of a title track much more mellow to fit the korean audiences more but also not be so very childish. After all the girls aren't 18 anymore. And omg I can't believe people don't like Soshi's Korean releases. 

I think the issue with korean releases is that usually the album as a whole isn't solid. Filler and filler to concept to concept. IGAB was a step up from The Boys regarding this. The Boys had songs on it that should have been in earlier albums and didn't live up to the title tracks concept but I guess all this is hard when snsd appeal to too many different audiences. But I can't see the dislike on earlier albums. IMO their early korean albums are good. Japanese ones are better than the recent korean albums and it suits their age more, that's all.

I agree with Auratus, SM knows what they're doing and they're looking at the money, they're going to want the most of that (and honestly, insulting the girls kind of sucks imo). But i agree with what others have said that the girls should be given more freedom so they can be taken seriously etc etc, but we don't know what they as artists would want to express since we don't even know them personally. And an artist doesn't have to be depresso to be an artist, they can express all their mellow feelings and just because it may be the simplest meaning of all, doesn't mean it's not worthy of being called "art". Anyways, I personally don't like L&G but a lot of people enjoy the summery song and that's great, similarly to how much i love lingua franca which for some reason not a lot of people like ;-; lol. Speaking of lingua franca, am i the only one that feels like mellow stuff like this should be promoted more in korea...and not in japan? i like their more mature image for japan.

Totally random but is it just me or like do the interludes at the SJT (besides the last one which is quite funny) have well thought out concepts and locations that would make awesome mvs. Eg. the mr taxi interlude when they're at the bar T-T and the song is pretty cool too, i wouldn't even mind a full version of that. and the goddess one where they're like looking down on peasant mortals.
