-Angelina has filed for a divorce a few days ago, and said his drug & alcohol problems and his parenting to be the cause.

-Also rumors of an infidelity with his co-star Marion Cotillard but she has came out to deny the rumors and at the same time announced her pregnancy with her current long time husband.

-Today, news came out that Brad was being investigated for child abuse but LAPD said that his not being investigated. (what is the truth?)

TLDR:

-He was drunk

-Was in a argument with Angelina Jolie

-One of the kids came between them (Supposedly it was the eldest, Maddox. Angelina 1st adopted son)

 

this is him, Angelina adopted him before she even got together with Brad. His 15yrs old

-He (Maddox) stepped in front of Brad. There was a parent-child argument which was not handled in the right way and escalated more than it should have."

 

- There are news & speculations that Brad physically abused the kids or one of the kids,

- But Brad insisted that he did not hit the child

 

-no one was physically harmed. He did not hit his child in the face in any way. He did not do that; he is emphatic about that. He put his hands on him, yes, because the confrontation was nose to nose and was spiraling out of control.

 

- Conclude that any accusations beyond this are "a combination of exaggerations and lies"

- Blaming the source of those accusations to Angelina.

My opinion:

Most likely they been fighting for quite some time & this fight was the last straw, I think Brad definitely hit Maddox & that was enough for Angelina to filed for a divorce.

 

She definitely prioritize the kids more than Brad, I remember watching a interview of them and the topic was about Brad favorite football team (american football to non americans out there) and the interviewer ask Angelina who's her fav player was and she said anyone who loves kids or if she sees any player being nice towards a kid, that would automatically be her favorite player. She definitely loves kids, probably why she has so many and maybe the rumors of her not being strict as Brad is true.

 

They have different parenting and Brad might be having a mid life crisis, his alcohol & drug problems becoming worse and it started affecting Angelina and it came to the point where one of the kids had to come between them and Angelina probably couldn't take it anymore, anything that'll harm the kids in anyway. The kids is her biggest priority.

 Probably Angelina was too soft on the kids and he was too harsh or more physical, there might not have been a middle ground when it comes to their parenting, this sort of stuff only confuses the kids.

I am sorry but I don't consider this abuse. Either way that is their business. It is sad to see how ugly their relationship is getting. For her to think that he would get physical with the kids unless she had sole custody means she never trusted him and doesn't trust him with their kids.

probably shoved him but it really doesnt help that he was drunk and that a kid felt the need to get in between... when a kid has to get in between a parents argument then it honestly must be bad :/ but tbh i dont consider a shove (IF THAT'S WHAT HE DID) abuse but not my kid not my discipline 

 

anyway glad she is divorcing him because being drunk and high around your kids isnt a good environment.
