I keep seeing all these ngg fanwars and lists and rankings and whatnot but somehow I always see bp ranked above red velvet although RV is doing better than blackpink in almost every way possible. Physicals - RV wins by default obvs Digitals - RV's Russian Roulette sold more than BP's whistle by farrrrrrrrrrrr in their first week like 63k more. even if we combine BP's two promoted songs with videos it's wouldn't even reach RV's main song and their other bside. BLACKPINK: Whistle: 150,747 Boombayah: 88,215 Total = 238,962 RED VELVET Russian Roulette - 213,414 Lucky Girl - 55,092 Total = 268, 506 RV also stayed in their top 2 position on billboard... btw, ak, pak are all relative to the competition, the true measure is sales.. no one would have had an ak against Im Chang Chung Youtube - BP's whistle got to 20 mil in 20 days, RV's Russian Roulette is only at the 14th day and at 16 mil.. Public Recognition- This one is also pretty obvs that RV wins seeing as YG still won't let BP promote. Visuals- I know y'all can say this is subjective but RV still wins this .. OP isn't comparing them just for fun, it's to show that RIGHT NOW red velvet is ahead of BP. Ofc, BP just debuted so it's expected but I've seen alot of people here underestimate red velvet's success when they have been nothing but successful. Why would you compare RR debut sales to whistle isn't it their 4th or 5th comeback . Secondly, why are you comparing BP's debut songs with Russian Roulette? I rarely see people putting BP above RV, this comparison thread is not necessary.
