Should the members who can't sing get less lines?

  1. 1. What do you think?

    • Main vocals & better singers/rappers should get more lines. Less lines for those who can't sing/rap.

    • The line distribution should be equal no matter what. Main vocal and those who can't sing should get equal 'fair' line distribution.

The line distribution in kpop is a very hot topic, there is an endless arguing within fandoms

on who should be getting more lines. A lot of fans seem to believe that everyone should

get equal lines meaning 'fair' line distribution. Some fans believe that 'fair' line distribution

should mean that those who sing/rap better should rightfully get more lines.

What do you think?

Of course lead and main vocals should have more lines (+rappers)! That's why they're the main and lead singers!

Members who are stronger at dancing normally get more time in the centre/at the front instead

All members should get their time to shine in a song depending on their strengths!

Let them sing. They will get better with practice. While they aren't getting lines, they can work harder on their singing voice and their dancing ability.

It should always be equal. One may not be as good as the other. But I think those who are weak singers tend to balance the strength of the voices of the group as a whole. Too strong or too weak type of music can get boring or irritating. It should always be balanced and the lines should be equally distributed.

yes! I care about the quality of the song

when people complain about their favs getting very little lines...but your fav can't sing...

they're probably happy they don't get that many lines

line distributions aren't meant to be equal since there'd be no point of having a main vocal/lead vocal/rapper

just give them more MV screentime instead

Main vocals should get most of the lines.

Now we got Kai out here ruining EXO songs because fans complain about line distribution. There is a reason some members don't get a lot of lines..

Songs especially title tracks should show the best of what the group can offer to non fans.

Main vocals/rappers should show their potential in singing/rapping through the songs.

Main dancers through performance.

Visuals usually go into acting so they also have to be in the centre position more than main vocal/rapper/dancer to let people notice their visuals.

People debut in idol groups because it is harder to start off in the industry as a solo. Normally companies will make sure all the members gets to shine through the thing they are strongest in.

i guess it depends on the song

when there's a part the member who cant sing can sing it easily, i doesn't really make sense when the company gives that line to the main vocal or vice versa when they already have like 50 seconds of the song
