Let's appreciate the Kings :datass: of live stages.

"Catch Me" MR removed... one of the hardest songs to sing live:

i honestly can't tell if they sang live... it definitely wasn't the studio version because you can hear differences, and i know how good their live vocals are, but i'm always hesitant to assume a performance is live unless they have handheld mics. plus music shows are heavy on the editing. but even if they did lip synch it was such a damn entertaining performance i wouldn't care

Mr removed videos are not always reliable. Besides.. sometimes the groups use prerecorded tracks, especially when the choreo is tough (Boa for example).

As for TVXQ .. i`m already well aware that they can deliver an amazing performance with great live vocals so... nothing new here :) 10 years in the industry after all...

ten was live,something wasn't

they lispynced to a prerecorded track,at some point Changmin wasn't even moving his mouth XD

I thought it was obvious even from the other mr you've posted, listen to how different their voices sound

they are good but not that good,it's mostly notable at their japanese TV shows lives when they sing with minimal backing track and they sound well...not that stellar lol

i think you`re right about the pre-recorded track. Their moves were too sharp and precise. In the mr video you can hear them hitting every not perfectly ... i don't think it`s possible. Yes, they can pull off the live singing but the choreo wouldn't be so sharp, you can't control your breath that well with such moves.

Edit. I just saw that it`s Music Bank -_- They must sing live there, right? So it`s either the editing or the mr is a bit off lol idk

Lipsyncing to a prerecorded track? What's the point of that? That's cheating and ridiculous. It's even worse than lipsyncing to the original track; at least with that you made your lipsyncing obvious.

I know TV stations like to get artists to record their performances several times so the editors can pick out the best ones to broadcast. They most likely mixed the performances together too, so that's probably why it may look like the timing can be a bit off.

I know how you feel

But IMO, I think it was like.. double voices? they sang it live because I remember a couple times I heard the backing track only because they missed their part or because they didn't want to, to catch a breath maybe? Blame dat super hard choreo and those wires it's so tiring :omgwtf:

But whatever.. They did it well and awesome :ahmagah:

it was pre-recorded vocals, sadly all SM groups do it during the first comeback week >>

I just saw that it`s Music Bank. Arent all groups supposed to sing live there?

Can you explain about the whole pre-recording vocals thing. Does it mean that they are recording the vocals and the choreo separately? I`m lost  Isn't this against the rules of Music Bank>/?

Yunho confirms that they are singing live. He says he has read comments from yesterday's performance via  https://twitter.com/WorldMaxified

i dont think he would lie, so i guess we can say it was live?

oh, great! :)
