Arthur Morgan 3,556 Posted September 16, 2016 Share Posted September 16, 2016 idk if its just me, but I remember the big success SJ,EXO,Shinee and Fx had when they debuted and it expanded even more years later, but the new groups like RV and NCT quickly lost their buzz and aren't killing it as hard as their predecessors how so? do you prefer the older or recent groups? I prefer groups that I like, which happens to be both new and old. RV debuted 2 years ago and NCT like 2 seconds ago, actual long-term success takes a while to determine. People say only middle school children and 16-24 year olds like idols so they're going to have idols close or in that age range so younger children will flock to them and support them because "hey! We're the same age so he is relatable so I like him so much to buy his groups album and vote for him an etc. etc." older groups are good in all but as contracts come to their ends, they'll have to pass the torch onto their hoobaes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Exo's debut wasn't a big success in 2012, they hit big next year, with Xoxo album which contain their breakthrough hit Growl, so in their second year of activity. NCT is in their first year, they just debuted, while RV started their 3rd year of activity in August. RV is doing fine, while NCT still has more units to debut.
