Let's do something nice to celebrate it: tell me or show me something you either like or respect about the group and it's members. It can be anything from a song, a performance, an outfit, a photo, a gif, it can be about their personalities or some action of theirs that made you like them, etc. For me, I'm just gonna go with some performances because iKON on stage is one of the things I love the most. I love how carefree they are, how they are always aware of the audience and how they work the camera. I know they aren't the best singers, the most skilled dancers or even the best rappers but they have a youthful feel and a passion in their performances that I find special and inspiring. Beijing Beijing is criminally underrated , such a shame due to politics this won't be seen live or on a awards show , or whatever. this shit needs to be 4k with some crazy sound system at an iKON concert with konbats going crazy in the crowd. THIS NEEDS TO BE PLAYED AT EVERY CHINESE CONCERT THEY DO , HECK ALL THE CONCERTS THEY DO Its such a bop . Its my fav ikon song, everyone is on point . And I agree. It's simply tragic that iKON rehearsed for months for these performances and they only got to do them once when they are so amazing. I was rewatching their WIN performance a few days ago and it never ceased to amazed me how on point their teamwork in their 6 foot 7 foot dance. The way Hanbin's body seems to follow the other 5 hand movements is mezmerizing. 2. ACCOUNTABILITY. I love that they know their responsibility to the team. They know they are still a work in progress and they still need to learn a lot of things and every new performance, i always get surprised on the individual improvements especially Chanwoo. They know that the group can only be as good as their weakest member. 3. GRATEFUL. They are always grateful to everyone like they can not believe people love them. *cries* I just love them so much! When they lost in WIN, that didn't make them lose faith but instead, used it as a motivation to succeed in the future. When the future of 3 members of the original 6 were uncertain and got threatened by new trainees in Mix & Match, they didn't complain about how unfair that was but tried their best to prove that they deserve that spot. I love how carefree they are, how they can find joy in the simplest things, how they appreciate fans so much (and writing songs for us, iKONICS), and how hard they try to give their best in every performance. iKON's performances has never disappointed me. No matter how tired they are, no matter how tight their schedule is and even if they only slept for a few hours, or worse, never slept at all, they always did their best to show us the best they could give. And they always strive to become better every time. iKON's passion and determination in reaching their dreams has inspired me to worked hard and take a risk to reach for my dreams, too. So yes, iKON is more than just a group of boys that I stan, more than just 7 people I find attractive. They are my inspiration. Whenever I feel tired, whenever I feel like giving up, I always think about how iKON never did, how they still tried what they can do, even if the future was dark and uncertain. So I guess, iKON will always have a special place in my heart. I know there will come a time when I will stop fangirling, when I won't be updated as much, when life will finally catch up with me, but I know that even when that time comes, I will remember these seven precious angels who has changed my life even when they didn't know it. I don't know how to make gif or fanart and also not very good at writing a long essay. So let me make it simple and straight to the point. What I love about iKON : Talent. And I don't throw the word TALENT around much. These boys are definitely one talented bunch of kids Hard work. Should I say more? Brotherhood. If you follow them from WIN you will witness their strong family like bond between them. Dorkiness. Our boys know how to have FUN. Sincerity. You can feel it from their songs. They truly love and appreciate their fans. Han Bin and Bobby wrote a lot of songs for the fans and family. Dong Hyuk, my angel, prepare v app session to show behind the scene photos. Yun Hyeong prepare a cooking show to fulfill their promise to meet the fans that night. What more can you ask? Pray. I don't know what are their religions. Not important. But there are bunch of behind the scene footage of them praying together before performances. Tears. Ever heard 'boys don't cry'? These boys are all cry babies. They are not afraid to show how they really feel. Make one cry and the rest will follow So to sum it all up, iKON is one genuinely nice, talented, dorky, bunch of guys that I love. diary 981 Posted September 16, 2016 Share Posted September 16, 2016 I started looking into iKON like a month before their debut bc bobby was in the group. tbh, it was hard since it felt like everything about that era was a mess + the constant hate didn't help. BUT after watching this performance (I remember crying with them lol) I really really connected to them and when I finally got around to watch win/m&m that experience kind of just sealed it for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bW2p40mY6vU so basically watching them grow and their journey is what really attracted me it's still pretty surreal to me that it's been a year but they've accomplished so much.
