WADA had/have approved her to use this since March 2014 apparently. Venus Williams tested positive to triamcinolone. WADA approved her using it since December 2011. Fancy Bears is the same exact team who hacked and leaked DNC documents revealing how Hillary team cheated on Bernie Sanders. Aside from the Williams sisters, american gymnast Simone Biles (Rio 2016 medalist) is another athlete whose name was in the leaked materials. As big as Serena/Venus would be, they are both retiring soon and their legacy is pretty much cemented. Simone BIles was the face of the Olympics and is considered the greatest gymnast ever. If she's implicated, that's a big big stain on US Olympics. Just to add: Now if they were allowed, they technically didn't do anything wrong but it's the double standards that people will probably rage about. Im also a fan of artistic gymnastics and have been since Atlanta. She's one of the greatest, if not the greatest, Ive seen in my lifetime. Now is she the greatest? Up for debate but I'm not going to shoot down anyone who considers her the greatest. That was thrown around a LOT and not just by American announcers. Each country has cheaters, but with russia it was state sponsered ccheatinh where officials activley destroyed positive samples and cover up their athletes cheating. This news is shady but they got permission from wada. They went about it the right way but people should stil question it.
