This is why this is so stupid when people say that JYPE was stupid to miss so many trainees/candidates. Either you want JYP to debut 2 groups per year or you accept the fact that JYP will just debut the ones that fit the group that they want to debut despite the star potential/talent of non selected trainees/candidates. Also JYP seem to have trainees for the 2 next generation at least so some of them may not debut in the next group with somi but the one after that (if they stay). Most of these girls are around 16, don't forget that some idols almost debut in their early-mid 20s... What i would personally like for the next group is 5 members: Lily M, Somi, Natty, Chaeryoung + Yejin (i would prefer Mashiro but this group would be then too foreign for korean GP so Yejin instead) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And so many good candidates they all have potential, it's going to be hard to pick but Mashiro is my fave :3 I'm looking forward to her/rooting for her too. Hopefully she will join the new gg. Since when debuting solo is a punition?^^ At first i wanted to see her solo but because she is young she has still time to learn dance and other idol things so that might works and i'm curious to see how she would fit in! But to be honest if you want her to have creative control and hear her sing longer debuting as a soloist is good too, it's just that the market favors more groups rn and because she is a foreigner it might be difficult for her (like Shannon). So yeah i really don't know^^ The best would be her in a small vocal group (doing mamamoo/miss a-ish upbeat songs and 2ne1esque ballad) and later her having a solo debut. Even with this only three they barely be given a chances to promote as excellent as idol group or on par with other solo project such as Hyuna even how admirable their talent is. Jimin and Yerin basically release a song, did several perf infront of small audience and zzap ! done. Even 15& aren't treated as what they should be. Luckily BAY hit a good luck with shouldn't have after several years of silence, the song climbing back on the the chart after some times and become sensational thus make the audience keep an eye for her like let's be real Day6, Jyp's soloist and duo or any other artist beside Jyp's idol aren't gonna receive a good promotional period as Jyp's idol group because they are not an idol so they'll be more on the independent side treatment they said. G.Soul deserve better Coming Home and You is a top level release if Crush or Zion T is the one who relase it the song will secure first place on every chart. they had so many hidden gem that people have yet to discover. take San E as example ; known to certain music fans and target audiences but not really explode on the scene untill coming out of Jyp..that sum up what i'm trying to say here. Not that debuting Lily M as a soloist is a bad idea but she will not be recognise as much as debuting in an idol group.
