Sounds good, I'm excited for their new music. Though I think Simone's voice has deteriorated a lot.

That's why Nightwish drifted away from operatic vocals with time: such vocals, coupled with the amount of singing and touring metal bands (but not just them) have to do, can really fuck someone's vocal cords up, even more so than "normal" singing. Imagine if EXO had to sing like Tarja at her most operatic each and every time they're on stage, their throats would catch fire.

Yeah, that's true. I remember when Epica first started many did say she had bad technique (I don't know much about that so I can't say for myself) and she had tons of problems with her vocal cords some years ago.

Even studio version her voice does not sound as good as it used to on their first 2 albums and let's not even talk about her lives. I don't know what exactly happened with her but other singers, like Tarja, Floor Jansen, Liv Kristine, etc. sing on similar setting and have been going on for more time than her and their voices have not deteriorated to the state Simone's voice has.
