What the hell is a "4D" or "Beagle" idol?

"4D" is used to describe someone who has a "weird" personality but the term is overused and annoying and idols, such as Taehyung, have stated that they don't like being called that

And I forgot beagle....I stopped stanning EXO 2 years ago lmaoo

4D - Out there, not like other people. It's natural. Often called weird. They think about things differently from others. Very unique individuals. (Most idols don't like being called this, including the example Idol)

Example:  Taehyung from BTS

Beagle Idol: Idols who are always happy and excited like little beagles (the dogs, you know). It's really adorable.

Example: Baekhyun from EXO

There is a big difference between the two terms...

"4D" meaning "4-dimensional" means "out there" and bluntly "not usual/weird." A guy saying funny but unusual statement, thinking differently, or being creative can be 4D. He doesn't necessarily have to be hyper or jump up and down. (Imagine a guy high of weed calmly talking about chickens in space. That's pretty 4D.)

"Beagle" means hyper active and playful like the actual beagle dogs. Idols jumping around, laughing, playing hard with other members, etc. are considered "beagles."

Whenever I see people use those words, it's usually followed by some obnoxious video of an idol being way too extra and cringy on a variety show.

What exactly are those terms supposed to mean?

Beagle is idols who are pretty active and always joking.

4D, people already told you what it is. Some are way to extra, making derp faces or things that fans like to call cute. But actually, 4D its not that but people changed the meaning. I remember that a member of a girl group did that for her group having screen time.

4d is weird and lol i remember like 5 or 6 years ago they used beagle to describe girls with "baby faces and glamourous bodies"... now they used it for people who are cute and playful like puppies

idek  :derp:

BAGLE is "baby face and glamourous bodies" (It's BAgle + GL(E)amourous)

BEAGLE is "cute and playful like puppies" (like the dog breed beagles)
