episode 6 is the most enjoyable episode imo

nam da reum cameo

It was the first episode I liked, but sadly it had nothing to do with Young Bin (his character isn't very likable, he doesn't strive hard enough to be an actor for me to really like his and his 'personality' isn't really developed that well either. So far we've seen him skip work, try to avoid meetings, and makeout with various ladies.) The male child actor was really good and pulled me in right away with his strong character, all of Eun Gab's scenes are good, and since he was in this episode a lot, it was even better. So Hee for me is like unbuttered toast. All she does is smile a bit, talk in a quiet tone, and talk about how she wants to focus on acting but dates one actor, then makes out with another like scandals won't affect her career. She's so far just a love interest without a well rounded personality playing off another character (young Bin) who also doesn't have a personality a lot of viewers can follow. His assistant seems more dimensional.

Kwang Soo and his rivalry with the child actor actually almost broke my heart  He's so good at coming off as desperate and pathetic while remaining likable and funny.

Seo Kangjoon’s Most Interesting Moment Of 2016 Involves Lee Kwangsoo

Count on Lee Kwangsoo to make it onto the highlight reel of Korean actor Seo Kangjoon’s year.

The Running Man star is currently acting with Seo Kangjoon, Lee Donghwi, Park Jungmin and Cho Jinwoong in Korean drama Entourage, a remake of the popular US TV series.

Kangjoon and Donghwi, who are in town to promote the show, said at the press conference that a scene involving Kwangsoo was by far the most interesting one. The scene in question? Kwangsoo punching a hamburger.

In fact, Kangjoon went on to claim, “I think that was the funniest moment I had in 2016.†And 2016 is not even over yet.

If there’s anything you’ll notice while watching the show, it’s probably not only the glitzy life of K-celebs, but also the chemistry among the actors. And as the two actors revealed, it’s not all acting – they are close friends in real life. Donghwi said, “I think in future, it’ll be hard to have something that’s more interesting to film than this because of how close the cast was, with Cho Jinwoong, Lee Kwangsoo, Park Jungmin and Seo Kangjoon.â€

How the actors got close is definitely a story to tell. Kangjoon revealed that after they were done filming, they toured together around Busan, where most of the filming took place. They visited the beach and went out for drinks together. He added, “Even though filming has ended, we would still gather together for beer while watching the broadcast.†Friendship goals, aye?

Of course, it wasn’t just sightseeing and drinking for the lads. Donghwi revealed that they would sometimes play games that involved punishments. He said, “One of the punishments I had to do was go out in the rain without an umbrella for five minutes on a really rainy day in Busan. I caught a cold after that.â€

After reading that, you might think the duo is living the high life, just like their characters, but they claimed otherwise. Kangjoon pointed the stark differences between his character, Korean superstar Cha Youngbin, and himself:  â€œâ€¦ it’s not really about the character, but more about Korean celebrities [in general]. I always stay at home to play with my cat, or go to Han River alone. Sometimes, I meet with my friends for beer. But in the drama, the stars go to hot places and hang out with their friends, so it’s something that I don’t experience in my own life as a Korean star.â€

Donghwi, whose character Geobook is also quite the merry-maker, concurred that he is nothing like his on-screen persona. “My character likes to go out and have fun … but in real life, I like to stay at home and play games on my PlayStation.â€

I just realized that if they didn't want to give Young Bin a drug problem to struggle with, they could've given him alcoholism since it wouldn't shock the public's senses as much. Right now the character really doesn't have any struggles, so I can't really cheer for him for anything. He can seem to get any girl he want, roles just fall into his hands, and he's already rich, or at least lives in a really nice house

:fyeah: Who wants to keep watching a drama with a main character that doesn't seem to have any goals or tension points?

i remember when kangjoon got casted for young-bin and believe me i was so against and mad about it because i knew the kind of character young-bin is and how hard it's to relate to him as a viewer.

i would recommend u to watch the original since the writers do a better job at it with the story but vincent chase (youngbin) is pretty much the same. 'the over-laid back dude with his head in the clouds and who gives all the stress to his manager friend to enjoy the aftermath himself'.

[spoilers] the original entourage does give youngbin/vincent much more issues though. he faces movie failures and has a lot of people in the industry ending up hating him for the things he doesn't take responsibility for. he even ends up abusing drugs at one point. but then again the original is eight seasons long and this remake is no longer than 12 puny episodes so we'll probably won't see much of it. or if we do it's probably gonna be rushed and all crammed up and we won't enjoy it at all.

personally i like the original better (even with all the fuckboyish issues involved with it ugh i know). i enjoyed it but to be honest with you i ended up warming to youngbin/vincent until the 4 season. he's just not likable at all and that's a problem with how he's written in the original. lol after all he's supposed to represent mark walhberg's in his youth years so i'm not surprised lol.

Osen - Naver: 'Entourage', didn't do a remake to deserve this...'can't break 1%'

1. [+5,979, -179] I had high expectations for this.. what a shame..

2. [+4,905, -154] I knew it was doomed for failure ever since they started throwing those stupid sex jokes

3. [+5,329, -468] Switched the channel to this while watching 'I Live Alone' and got to the scene with Sohee at the hospital. Her acting... She used to be cute when she was younger, she doesn't suit her role of an actress and a topstar's first love. I've never seen her act before but I totally get why she has acting controversies

I'm glad none of the actors are getting blamed for how the ratings of this show are turning out (though they're still judging SoHee's acting). I only watched about ten episodes of the American original and stopped because I didn't like the main character, which is why I was hoping with this Korean remake, the writer would've focused more on rounding him out with goals and a struggle since the series is much shorter. I wasn't looking for a copy/paste remake. I wanted to see a different spin on the characters, with a strong influence of the culture and community it's being written for, which is what I was hoping for with this one. I still plan to watch the rest of the episodes, but only for the side characters. Really hoping for Gwang Soo's character to land a new role XD

At this point I'm really only watching to see how Amber's acting is and to see her in general. I'm kind of sad that this is the drama that she debuts with because imo it kinda blows. Youngbin seems like a spoiled brat most of the time, the quick blips of romance are rather boring, and I'm not seeing any appeal in the shenanigans of the four guys. If I could just shove Eungap, Joy, and kwangsoo into the main character spots I think it would be more interesting 😢 I'll keep watching in hopes that it gets better

Episode 7: is indeed pretty good. But I can't imagine most viewers sticking through commercials to watch what happens next. This show doesn't have enough tension and almost doesn't seem to have a plot, you know what I mean? I find myself spacing out during many scenes because there are no stakes. Sure So Hee and Young Bin could get caught, but so what? He's already rich and pretty famous apparently, how bad will it hurt his career? So Hee's reputation might be damaged, but her character's already been in a dating scandal with some other dude and I really care about a penny's worth for her character. She's not someone I'll feel sorry for if she gets hurt at this point, I'm not rooting for the characters to be together, I'm not wishing they would break up either. This show really is good at creating an atmosphere of indifference for these two... (and most of the storyline....)

I don't know if it was his acting or his aura that made me uncomfortable to be honest. And yup they'll probably break up :\ I think they'll be on again off again for the rest of the drama since she's Young Bin's only real female lead, the other girls are like cameo side pieces or something XD At least maybe we'll get some stronger emotions from them if so. Right now I'm not feeling anything when they're on screen together.  :wth: Where is the chemistry?!
