How would they share a dorm together or shower in a hurry i mean it would lead to some awkward situations  :hurr:

Fans would dig shipping. It would give them more reasons to stan them.

I didnt mean a nugu group. :)  I specifically said created by either YG or SM.

I don't know about YG x SM. They probably couldn't come to an agreement since YG is about the swag and the rapping and SM is about the choreography and vocals, it would be an awkward performance.

SM could do more with their current artists though. Like a co-ed vocal group or that Younique Unit thing.

Not a group merged by both companies. A group created by either company.

Not a sub-unit. An actual group.

I don't think a CO-ED group under S.M. Entertainment could work. Sub-Unit maybe, but permanent...? Not really.

SM likes to market their groups as best friends essentially.. members being close to one another etc etc. It would be messy if the girls and boys were marketed like that as people will get the impression that they're dating or whatever. Heck members who aren't even in the same groups but are under the SM label are rumored to be dating... can you just imagine a group who lives and spends everyday with one another? lol.

That whole ''best friend'' image that they have going on helps attracts fans and can even help sell, so yeah... because of that reason. I don't think a COED group under SM would ever happen.

What about YG? I think a unisex group could reach to a larger audience than top groups today if you appeal to the sense of both fangirls as well as fanboys in one group. That and it would be a first of its kind. The possibilities are endless.

It's not that they CAN'T do it. It's that they don't want to. Because the big 3 are ACTUALLY good at marketing.

Good marketing doesn't mean anything if you cannot come up a good concept. KKS had tried to make the concept work and the big 3 do nothing.

You say that like COED School was such a hit and success...... You do know that they essentially flopped right? Nugu? Right...?

Not necessarily..... You do realize that idols are marketed as objects right? Basically idols that you know, love and "own". Hence the reason that idols can't date. Because they want to instill the thought into the fans head that yes, they have a chance to be with them and that yes, they are loyal to them and love them etc. etc. So if you mix boys and girls into one group... and rumors about them dating start floating around.... Yeah.

You make fans sound so delusional.  I would love to see my oppars dating in real life. I love them and they hold a special place in my heart but I understand they are normal people. Dating bans and the idea of ownership are ridiculous.
