Do you guys think that its wrong when vegetarians bash meat-eaters on instagram or any social media?

Personally, i think that everyone should eat what ever they love and not involve in each others buisiness.

Its just sad, someone will post themselves eating their favourite food including meat and his day will be ruined by comments that will say that <meat is bad> or < you are killing them > or < disgusting > etc.

and there you go , the person's day was ruined.

I do not think its right.

I agree. There has been serious divisions in my sister's school because a lot of vegetarians have been showing the meat eaters videos of animals being slaughtered and saying that they support discrimination. I get you can support a cause..but bashing someone because of what they choose to eat is ridiculous.

Particularly when they saying extreme accusations, I've seen comment like you're responsible for rape, enjoy the weight of torture on your conscience etc... You can express your views without being disgusting.

By eating meat/fish you ARE contributing to extensive animal abuse and the destruction of the environment, so personally I think it's the wrong thing to do (especially considering that humans can survive on a non-meat diet).

However, I do not think that bashing/harassing/otherwise mistreating people who do eat meat is a decent behavior or the right way to go about it. In some cases it may even make things worse. It's much better to work on information campaigns, engage politically, support science projects to find meat substitutes etc., than to try and force your view on someone else like that.

But i do not think that you also should put your children to live a vegeterian life. Especially when they NEED the meat to survive and grow.

It just makes me depressed thinking about it.

It's annoying. As if these people will change anybody's minds by calling them a "murderer" or acting holier than thou because they have a different diet.

I have a vegan friend who is really friendly and always lets me try some of her vegan snacks, shares vegetarian recipes etc that has opened me up to a lot of new meat-free foods and meals. I think that's a much more effective approach, you can share the benefits of not eating meat without being judgmental and a psycho

They don't NEED meat to survive and grow though, children can even grow healthily on a vegan diet if it's done properly!

From what I've read they absolutely don't NEED meat to survive and grow. There is nothing exclusive in meat that they can't get by eating something else (compare that to cats who do need meat, since Taurin only exists in meat). There is a lot of protein in meat, but if you just make sure your kids have another source for it, they'll be fine.

What they don't need to eat, however, is cookies, chips and candy.

If a vegan had a ferret pet, i hope they could feed them meat. Because ferrets feed from meat for example...

There are some vegan cases that they fed their pets with vegan diets.

Yes, and that is wrong and should be punished as it's animal abuse, because (as I stated in the example with the cats) some animals can only survive on a meat based diet.

The point of it all is to try and lessen the effect on nature and to spare animals from unnecessary pain/slaughter, not to kill of all the tigers by feeding them carrots.

it's not very good activism, and most of the time it's very random and unnecessary. people should only reach out to those close to them and to those who are open to change.

but... you know that these vegans are scrutinised nearly every day right? by meat eaters who automatically put themselves below vegans in order to attack them. questioning everything about their diet and lifestyle... trying to find as many faults in that person as they can.

at the end of the day meat eaters like to paint themselves as the victims though, because they're apart of the majority which maintains the norms of society. it's not surprisingly i guess... people get really shook when somebody is vegan, because they question their morals and feel the need to justify their lifestyles without even being asked.

ain't getting further into this discussion tho. as sjw onehallyu is, everybody still hates vegetarianism and veganism here.
