redheart 7,440
I've been doing dance covers for a while now and lately I've been thinking about doing kpop reaction/reviews mainly because Revel is doing a comeback and I want to react to that lol anyway I need advise I know that a lot of people on OH hate reaction videos because you find them fake and cringy. What are some things that reacters do that makes you hate them? also if I ever were to do these I would not film myself watching the video, it would be more reviews and comments on the visuals, storyline and music would you be interested in watching this type of videos? lastely even thought I'm very excited and motivated to do these I'm kinda awkward in front of the camera when I'm dancing it's ok but if I start doing reviews, it'd be weird because I'm talking to nobody lol if you have any tips or advices for this please give them to me ah and what language should I use? I'm confortable with both french and english but I'd rather use english because first of more people would be able to watch and understand also english is just more... I don't know... better for spazz that french I don't know, what do you think? thankx
Yoonability 4,159
Pretend you're talking to a friend. Also, please don't be overly excited/shouty/etc. I like when people freely speak their own language and put subtitles, but that will give you some extra work. wonumon 2,370
I just absolutely hate those over-the-top fake reactions,it's so annoying.
BadBadNotGood 11,616
Just give your honest opinions. Don't just watch the video then say "that was awesome! Well if you liked this video please comment, like, and subscribe..."
syuckle 189
doin it in ur mother tongue with actual dedicated english subs would be so cool and definitely make u unique i think u shouldn't be exaggerating too hard but u should for sure be a lil hyped up otherwise itll just be boring to watch (frankly) also itd be fun to have some final thoughts after uve reacted to the mv/closing words, not just only the mv reaction
rabidsofa 452
Subtitles.. always. I'd say english but only because that's the language I speak lol. But whatever language you're most comfortable speaking in is best. Don't go too over the top with your reactions because it'll just sound fake. Try not to sound too rehearsed but do have sections so that it flows nicely. Oh and try and sound like you know what you're talking about! Give actual commentary, don't just say 'wow, so cool, awesome, i love it' etc.. because I can do that myself - I don't need to watch someone else doing that. kales 103
i don't mind if people film themselves watching the video, but talk about the song and music video after watching it i like reviews that are more in depth that just watching the video and commenting of unimportant things
coolcoolcool 893
I just don't find them very appealing to me but: Try to make jokes without overdoing it and smile a lot and look friendly Don't be too over the top, people don't like try hards, just be yourself About the awkwardness.. I think it's something that just passes overtime Film yourself reacting and then say your review, don't make it too long tho And make the intro short, the thing I hate the most about reactors is the 2-4 minute intro It's better to speak English because more people will be able to understand you Good luck

nicophos 1,660
i dislike reactions more when those western youtubers (like 1d fans etc) do kpop reactions and they were so... plastic. like wow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H3UHGwphlk this was so cringe worthy.
