tips to stop procrastinating

Avoid using your computer for tasks other than school work.

Give yourself 10 to 20minutes of rest/leisure time for each hour. That's your reward for focusing and working hard.

Start doing things now, no matter how much you don't feel like doing it. Honestly, starting is sometimes the hardest part.

Guess it depends on why you're procrastinating. Senioritis or are you procrastinating because there's an overwhelming amount to do?

If it's the latter, schedule it out. Actually write out what work you're going to do in what amount of time, and in what order. Then just focus on one thing at a time. And reward yourself each time you finish.

If it's senioritis then I'd say have fun rather than do work. Just realize that colleges can still change their mind if your second semester grades are horrible. Also, know that it's REALLY not a good time to pick up bad habits. Your ass is going to get kicked once you start college.

For either case, another strong motivator is to tell someone else your goal, so that you're now accountable to someone else. Make a deal with that person too. If I don't finish X by X, then I will do X (for that person). Personally, I'm pretty tight with money, so I've promised to treat a friend out for dinner if I don't study. 100% fool proof depending on how desperate you are.
