Yeah but I didn't like those songs though, lol. I meant she needed to cross over to the US when she was about 10 years younger, and with some better material. She would have definitely done a lot better than Utada.

She had a chance with Vivid, but in the EU. The US is a tough market even for British acts, let alone anyone else. 

 

Perfume and BABYMETAL understood this and now they're successful in both markets. Always go for the EU first and then the US. 

 

 

P.S. I like Kirakuni, but it's 2001 R&B. Definitely not good for 2006 when Rihanna, Nelly Furtado and others were storming the charts with the new urban pop wave.
