Korean GOT7 fans will demand a change from JYPE, listed proofs of Jackson's mistreatment

There are many tweets like this one mentioning jypnation and GOT7official Twitter accounts now. These are screenshots from Playground, GOT7's Korean site where Korean fans talk.

They decided to take action after Jackson was involved in an accident because of sasaengs (one of the articles said they won't be punished), managers not taking care of Jackson in China, him being overworked, sick and injured during promotions and concerts many times, and him performing at the JYP Nation concert in Japan one day after accident.

There are K-fans who declared that they won't buy any GOT7 products until JYPE changes the way they treat him.

They listed dates of his schedules this year and sent to JYPE. Above you can also see a screencap from today's concert: the only time Jackson appeared on Taecyeon's periscope was when he was seen looking down and holding his back.

Last photo: Jackson's Korean manager covered herself with an umbrella for Jackson during the rain, Jackson didn't have anything, she didn't stand close to him. Chinese manager never covered him from the sun when he was filming, gave him water, helped (he was filming in the heat for 3 days).

Today at the concert Jackson danced during all songs. Fans said he didn't talk much, was pale, sweating, kept looking down and held his back. Jinyoung helped him enter the stage.

There are still two JYP Nation concerts to go. JYPE said Jackson's health was their priority to the press yesterday and called Jackson's injury not serious. Even if it's true Jackson should at least sit during performances. Korean fans believe that company can and should force the artist to rest if their health is in danger. What's more, GOT7 is preparing for a comeback so they're worried that he won't be able to rest.

We need to believe that JYPE start taking care of him properly and something changes.

I feel as though Jackson is the hardworking type to the extreme. I would not be surprised at all if he was the one who assured JYPE that he was fine and that he was the one that wanted the schedule he has. If he wanted to stop I think that JYPE would allow him to take as long as a break as he deemed necessary. Jackson has always worked really hard for his group and hasn't been selfish with his fame at all.

If my baseless assumptions are right and Jackson, himself, is the one pushing his schedule then JYPE needs to know when to force him to slow down

lol this is basically what popular and trendy idols do now. their schedules are super packed. this is to maintain and increase their popularity. lol jyp can't be turning down so many offers just to ensure he's not ''overworked''. then fans will say jyp not promoting jackson enough and wasting his potential? plus jackson is very passionate and like his job from what i've seen. i meant if he wouldn't want to perform/work, i don't think jyp can force it on him. and i'm pretty sure he is treated well. all his international flights are at least business class. when the touring worldwide, they are free to explore around. fans are overreacting as usual. if you want to be successful, hard work is essential

Knowing Jackson, he probably wanted to attend JYPN because he didn't want to disappoint fans. And yes he is being overworked, however which popular idols aren't being overworked? I do understand that fans are worried for Jackson but I hope this doesn't go too extreme. If fans boycott by not buying GOT7 products, who will then? This will only hurt GOT7 (well jype too HAHAH).

Anyways, my two cents :3

i get the concern from fans. Jackson may have said he was okay enough to perform and everything but I do think the company should make him rest for a while. Idols are passionate, of course they're gonna wanna bare the pain to make fans happy but its not right if it costs them hurting more.

how about they group together to protect Jackson against his sasaengs? Not his company. Frchrissake attack the right people at least. The company pulled JB when he was injured, so if they have to they'll pull Jackson too, I hope they force him to get a little more rest though, before it gets that bad.

Sometimes people need a wake up call to slow down. I appreciate that knowing his personality, this is probably his choice (and tbh I suspect jype takes advantage of this) but if he carries on like this his body is gonna be wrecked by the time he hits 30, if not sooner. Yes, a lot of idols work like this, but a lot of idols also have health problems they shouldn't have at such a young age.

I appreciate hard work, but idols are humans and have their limits. Sometimes they have to slow down and take care of themselves for the long-term benefit. The fans do this because they care, I get it, but sadly it's an industry wide problem with the fact that people just can't afford to slow down because there's always going to be others willing to risk their health and take your place. I hope things will change one day, but I wonder how many will be exploited and put themselves through so much like this before that starts to happen...

Jackson is like the sweetest human being ever, this makes me very sad if it's true. Companies need to start realizing that these kids are more than just commodities and paychecks and they deserve to be treated with respect and care for putting so much of their time, talent, energy, focus, health on the line to make them money. It's really bullshit. I hope this gets sorted out, Jackson deserves better than this.

Jackson may be the one who has been pushing all these activities onto himself and overworking himself in order to promote GOT7, but no matter how stubborn he is about "being okay enough to perform", which is probably what he said to those around him because he didn't want to let down the fans or the rest of the members by not showing up on stage, JYP still has power over him and can make him sit out on an activity, and this concert especially could (and should) have been avoided since it was held only a day after his car accident, or at least he could have sat on a chair singing and not move at all while the rest of the group was performing. He's gonna have a burnout sooner rather than later if he keeps going at this rate, and GOT7 hasn't been out for even whole 3 years. If he keeps being stubborn and doesn't put his health (both physical and mental) first in front of work from time to time, then someone else has to do it, so I'm glad K-fans did something about it.

Companies main goal is to get what they can out of their idols while the iron is hot. This is a great gesture from fans, it's good to see that they're honestly concerned about how much he's being run down but I'm not hopeful that it will change in the long run. Maybe he'll be given a short break to appease them but at the end of the day companies are all about the bottom line and they'll run their idols into the ground to achieve it.

I haven't seen any company so far that is an exception to this ad that isn't to say that everyone who works for these companies are bad people but lbr do y'all really think the higher ups give a fuck more of a fuck about idols health than they do the money they make them?

& y'all just spring out that ''Jackson is hardworking'' thing as an excuse to make yourselves feel better about circumstances you can't change because that doesn't mean it's right that his willingness to work himself to bone is taken advantage of. Being willing to work when injured/sick/worn down does not = the company is not complicit in the state he gets in.

JYP aint known for force his idol so is Jackson. I mean we all know what Jackson is like as if he want to do it, he will do and no one can't stop him. I agree that he had to rest since he got into accident but it his choice and we can't question him for what he want to do.

I mean it's good that they care. But they should educate saesangs in the first place.

Among idols there are more people who would prefer a lot of work other then sitting without it. Because one year you are popular and the other year no one is interested in you anymore. So it's only logical to grab everything while you can.
