White skin and colorism is not the same in Asia as it is in westernized countries. Their reason for doing so is totally different from wanting to be white. HOWEVER Media references to white people and whiteness being "pure," "fashionable," and "legitimate" are prevalent globally. That is why "white" aesthetics are so commonly seen on tv and in music. Not ever having to wax/thread/trim vs no need to cake on foundation to hide the ugly marks. White skinI can get hair removed permanently but my skin tone can't change It can and why would you want your skin tone changing anyway, unless it really clashes with your facial features.
