Still the greatest pop mega-mashup: Best flow, song/artist choices, best lyrics, and best message..

This mashup titled "No More Gas" was made by DJ Earworm in 2008. In my opinion, it was created to discuss about the insanely high gas prices of that time, how we can't afford them yet need them so badly. Kinda obvious based on the lyrics and the fact that 2007 - 2008 had some of the highest gas prices.

Besides being an excellent time capsule for the biggest hits and the big gas price issue of that time, this mashup is most noticeable for seamlessly including what most people consider today "bops." It's hard for mega-mashups to cram this many catchy, memorable, and well-known songs and still remain so good as a standalone track.

This immaculate mashup contains these now "holy" songs:

Ne-Yo: Closer
Estelle & Kanye West: American Boy
Rihanna: Disturbia
Madonna, Justin Timberlake, & Timbaland: 4 Minutes
Britney Spears: Gimme More
Lupe Fiasco & Matthew Santos: Superstar
Kardinal Offishal & Akon: Dangerous
Pussycat Dolls: When I Grow Up
Danity Kane: Damaged
Leona Lewis: Bleeding Love
Flo Rida & T-Pain: Low

Sure other mashups might be catchier, contain more songs....

But they can't touch the well-roundedness of this one

dj earworms mashups are iconic tbh

They really are iconic in their own rights as well as in their impact...

They inspired many DJs today to also make mega-mashups...

We wouldn't have K-pop mega-mashups if it wasn't for Earworm inspiring DJ Masa who in turn inspired other DJs to follow suit (SHIMmixes, etc.)

Eh

Which mega-mashups do you prefer?
