I don't think Koreans really wanna look completely white. They still appreciate & like there Korean beauty. It's not like they initially delevop there beauty standard after seeing white people.

 

Tbh I would say a lot of them like a mix of both lol, not just knetz actually. Everybody wants to be mix & "exotic". Being full is "boring & basic". Olivia Hussey is considered drop dead gorgeous in Korea and honestly she could pass as part Asian because of her heavy hooded eyes & just her features overall are too soft to be a common caucasian face but still striking enough with the tall nose & green/hazel eyes.

surprisingly, pann isnt all of korea. in fact the high concentration of teens on pann, most of who dont have any actual experience with people from other races makes this not surprising. i went to mostly black middle school/highschool and despite the fact that mixed black people are common, there was a still an infatuation with puerto ricans/domincans/those with native american ancestry/basically anyone that was perceived to be more than just black. this sentiment was echoed by my cousins live in nigeria, whose classmates had the same fascination with mixed people when they were young.

 

just like me, they're in college now and most people grew out of the weird fascination/fetishization.

well, i think it would behoove you to know that you dont need water to survive. in fact, water is bad for you and you should stop drinking it. ignore the fever, the confusion, the sunken eyes, and the occasional unconsciousness, that's all your body escaping the addiction. once you get past that, you will never have to drink water again and you'll live a better, healthier life.

 

i know this is true because someone said so on the internet and one post on the internet is enough to make an all encompassing statement about any issue despite it's complexity.

How many times does it take "we want pale skin, light eyes, light hair, double eyelids, tall noses, and "western freatures!!!!11!" for it to be true? I would have thought the "western features" thing would have really clued you in by now.

receipts, but at least you acknowledge that they can have the naturally. can it now strike you that they saw a korean with all of these features together and thought wow. i mean, look at jun jihyun, generally considered a visual wall. she doesnt look very white to me. and again, i encourage you to look at people who the GP considers beautiful, not just young pop fans. because if you asked young american pop fans who they thought was most beautiful, you would likely get a different answer if you asked a random selection of the american population. you are judging the korean popularity off a select few with very skewed interests. (and miranda kerr isnt a good example because she's a model, so it doesnt make sense to drag people for finding her pretty when her whole job is based off the fact that someone found her pretty).

I wonder what you have to say about the fact that Koreans are the ones who associate those features with white people constantly, after just a quick google search: 

saying Somi's western features stand out more with straight hair, saying OMG's Jiho has western facial features like "cat-like and big eyes", always saying Gyuri has western/foreign features during reality shows, Sehun get these comments a lot too: SEHUN'S ANCESTORS ARE 100% FOREIGNERS and comments like these:

"I thought that a more Asian look would have been preferred in the past but it's the same Western features... Everyone looks Western lately, it's boring." And plenty more without a doubt.

 

How can you argue Koreans don't like more western features and even more ridiculous - that there's no such thing when Koreans themselves constantly talk about them and praise idols' looks who have them? I'm pretty sure it doesn't ~flick their slit~ (wtf even is that) to say they like Western features. The fact that even they have admitted an inferiority complex exists but you're still arguing otherwise makes your intentions pretty suspicious, and the other person was just pointing that out, as if it wasn't crystal clear your argument doesn't even have a base as even actual Koreans don't seem to agree with you.
