This is key at Mcoundown today: Actually, the ratings aren't considered "low" for this drama. TvN is a cable channel, not one of the big three, so ratings north of 3.0 are considered good. Key's favorable reviews by industry insiders definitely bodes well for him, too. No doubt he'll be getting more screen acting opportunities in the future. I've been so impressed by how natural his acting is in this drama, and he has a intuitive sense of comedic timing. He's been able to sell a range of emotions, from sarcastic to heart broken in this project, drawing from the deep well of emotions that SHAWOLS have always seen on display from KiBum. Yes, we are biased, but not without cause. He's just ginuinely possessed of acting chops. Oh I thought the ratings were really bad because I saw people say that since the Reply series on tvN gets +20 ratings Drinking Solo ratings are actually bad for tvN even though it's a cable channel. And I agree with everything else you've said. Seriously, the latest episode made me cry. The storyline with Kibum's grandma hit me really hard because it felt so close to his relationship with his real life grandma. The scene of him dancing in the rain imagining dancing with his grandma had me crying like a baby!
