It's almost ridiculous that he can do so many thing and do them well . A true superstar GD could have easily pulled a Justin Timberlake and left the group in dust years ago but he still chose to be a team member. He's not only an outstanding artist but an amazing person too. I really respect him. Cannot wait for his solo in 2017, records will be broken for sure. It was the first BB-related comeback after their major successes in 2008, and before they became a scandal-ridden group. Anything associated with BB at that time turned into gold. Including 2NE1. I wasn't that fond of the design of some BB albums but GD's album designs are great. GD's public image is greatly helped too because of Bigbang's image as a whole. So you're confirming that at their peak GD could outsell BB by himself. Because numbers are hard cold fact here. Taeyang and Seungri sold no where near as much. In a way, as a GD fan, I'm glad GD made the decision that time to agree that his solo song Lies be sung by Bigbang. I think it wouldn't have received the huge attention it got if it were his solo song and his talents wouldn't have been as recognized as it is today. GD would have done well singing those songs by himself, I never had any doubt. In fact, GD told YG that he wanted to keep Haru Haru for his solo album but that rat YG made him turn it into a group song instead . He'll always be legendary for being the leader of one of the most influential group in the world. It's not easy to spend your days filled with such a strong sentiment, to spew negativity every single day of your life towards people that you don't know and are closer to gd than you'll ever be. No one is forcing you to like bigbang, no one is giving two flying fucks about you yet you stubbornly go on with this, this is a talent wow. What is left to do is to just focus this energy on loving gd and not hating bb. GD is a brand by himself, that's why when YG put up something to represent the company, you see them putting BB logo and GD logo separately. BB can do concerts/ fanmeets/ albums... without a non-GD member just fine, but without GD they're f*cked.
