I think we have a similar range and voice quality, that's why it wasn't very hard for me to sing her OST ballads (karaoke level of singing, of course, I don't even know if I sing them properly, but sounds ok to me). But her solo songs are on a completely other level. I didn't even try to sing some of them because I knew I will sound horrible. Rain wouldn't be that bad, I can sing the chorus and the higher parts, but the low verses are a mess. Too low for my range. U R has those high and then low notes in the beginning and of course the high notes at the final. The rest is ok-ish. I didn't even try to sing Stress. It's fast and the notes in the chorus sound very challenging. Gemini isn't that hard, but I doubt I make proper transitions. The title tracks were actually the hardest for me. In 'I', I run out of breath during the chorus, the first verse is too fast, the high note is a mess (well, for me all high notes are a mess, maybe except for the ITNW one). As for Why, I can't sing 'Whhhhyyyy' before the chorus without sounding like a goat. I don't know if it's my voice itself or the part is supposed to sound weird without a proper back-up. How Taeyeon manages to sing that song right at the end of her concerts is crazy. Know what else is crazy? Taeyeon said U R was the easiest/fastest to record.
