Do you ever feel like you are added value to someone but they are not to you

ME  LITERALLY

I can mean a lot to other people and can help people out a lot but they to me... have no added value and I don't think I'd need them for anything, But they need me...

to a point they get lazy and continue to bother me with requests and help when I know I won't need their help.

I don;t want people to LEAN on me unless you can mean something for me as well.

lol

basically my whole life.

I can help people but they can't help me, and that's how they take advantage if they know they're no added value in my life either

Yes, I've felt this way with an old friend. Always asking for my help, but when I needed to talk about all my frustrations, this person had nothing to say, or anything that can help me. This type of relation is tiring mentally and physically on the long run. The best will be when both help and truly care for each other. Personally, I ignore people whom talk to me just for themselves and nothing else.
