Grammar nazis are fucking annoying

vocabulary

Recommended Posts

And this is coming from someone who regularly tops the cohort for different languages including English. Y'all may think I'm lying bc my English is shit sometimes without proper punctuation at all but I always type what's on my mind without a filter or caring about the sentence structure. There's no point lying when you also regularly get F for math :imstupid:

This is just a rant, because my friend is freaking annoying when my English > hers. She literally corrects everyone around, and wrongly even. She likes to correct me when there r no grammar mistakes at all or wrong vocabulary used. When I tell her, she says hers is an improvised version of mine. Fucking cunt, do u think I'll spend ten minutes thinking of the best way to say something before finally speak?Grammar nazis, I want to know WHY

For me, my motto is that as long as I can understand u, I don't mind lol

Okay but it still bothers me when people who have spoken English their entire life cannot differentiate "through" and "threw."

I can understand "too" and "to" or "there," "their," and "they're," HELL even "your" and "you're"

But "threw" and "through" GTFO it gets me going when I see a status on facebook saying "You don't know what I've been threw!!!1!!1!1111!"

lol I know what u mean. This, I also can't understand. I mean if u have lived in this world for this long I'm sure u have seen how people actually spell them. I think it's a mistake they make while typing how things sound in their head but they should've noticed it immediately LOL

Is that what she says? Bc she is using that word incorrectly if so

She legit said that a few times. But it happened so manyyyyy times I lost count. Sometimes she changes to "upgraded" I'm like wtf girl y u throwing words around. In short, she always claims it's a better version. Anyway, isn't that still subjective lol bish

I personally like to try and type grammatically correct but I don't judge others who don't want to. Though they're are some people who need to be corrected and mocked because they go too far.

I'm actually horrible at grammar but I want to be an author so I try to write properly.

I'd love for grammar nazis to correct my posts. I need to improve my written English. My conversational English skill is abysmal too but I haven't found English speaking pals to practice my English.

I think you're doing great. I heard that there are websites for this. Maybe you could search up on that :)
