I know they tend to shift styles once in a while (Madonna-Shy Boy-Starlight Moonlight-Love is Move) but recently, they've been pulling an A-Pink with their songs. What's with that? Where's this Secret? or this Secret? or this or this? I hope they return to that funk/go-go inspired music in their next comeback because they basically "own" that style in Kpop. You can bet on it, because TS only knows how to alternate between 2 or 3 conflicting concepts. So when it comes to Secret and B.A.P's comebacks, the only thing to predict is which one of their old songs they're going to rehash for the umpteenth time - the 'badass' one or the 'overly cute' one. DragonFury 3,019 Posted December 28, 2013 Share Posted December 28, 2013 I didn't mind the Yoohoo concept as much, partly because it was quite fun to see Secret blatantly overacting in the MV and partly because the choreography was decent. also the rest of the songs from that mini album were fantastic. I do I do annoyed me because it took the whole aegyo concept too far and the dance was just plain stupid. I think TS needs to regroup, and rethink its long term strategy for both Secret and BAP, specifically what image they wish to convey for both groups. Both groups have suffered because they're not bringing anything new to the table, and what they do bring isn't better than their older stuff. I like Secret's music because it sticks to a specific genre which is associated to them - that funky, gogo pop sound ala Amerie/Beyonce. They should rehash it better so as not to sound similar, perhaps some jazz or big band inclusions. They'd still have that feisty, fierce style. For me, the cute route in 2013 took it too far.
