First of all, I LOVE BLACKPINK! I've waited for this groups since 2011 when YG first released Eunbi's pic and I'm honestly still processing it in that they've actually debuted and will have a show next month!!!   

And I love both of BP's songs..still play it on a daily up until now. But if I'm completely being unbiased, I'd have to pick Fire as the better song out of it or Boombayah. 2ne1's 1st mini is still my favorite album from the group and one of my favorite Kpop EPs of all time. Fire was a big smash hit and it was what truly was set 2ne1 apart from many back then. It also greatly has their own distinct color to it, as opposed to (imo) Boombayah being very reminiscent of Bigbang's sound. Idg how anyone sees it as 2ne1 tbh.

As for IDC and Whistle, even tho IDC was even bigger than Fire while also beating out SNSD's best song Genie on several occasions, I'd have to pick Whistle. Basically what Fire is to 2ne1, Whistle is to BP. It's the stand out song for me, even after first listen.

Personally, 2NE1's debut songs were legendary. While BlackPinks music is good and I love it. They do not hold a candle to I Don't Care or Fire.
