GalaxunnieSuperOppa 5,997
For some reason I signed ups ro AP classes, which was a mistake. The class is fine but all the students in their are mean straight A ones!! One girl marked my grammar on my paper RIGHT AFTER THE TEACHER SAID NOT TO. Also, we had peer grading and they were telling the others in class the paper with wrong answer-that they read to the whole class- WAS MINE. What do I do??? Only one really likes me, and only the teacher is nice....

Dovah Bitch 1,152
Yeah in AP classes there are a lot of students who think they are really smart hot shit and act insufferable. Like calm down you're not in Harvard law school chill. Taking AP classes and getting good scores on the tests got me a lot of credits in college tho, so push through! Just make fun of them in your head / out loud

tatertots 714
It's usually like that. In high school I straight up had friendenemies, they would always get jealous of my accomplishments. You need to stick in OP. Stay strong. The reason why they are like that because of the competitiveness of the class and the fact they have taken honors their whole life. At the end, APs will help you. Study your butt off, and don't let people affect you.
양 지 10,015
tbh there are a lot of smart people in normal classes who just choose to not take APs for whatever reason (cause they're lazy/they don't like the subject/etc.). the smartest kid in my grade takes all normal classes cause he's really rich so he has a security blanket lol. so I don't get why teachers/students are so quick to be pretentious about it. hope everything works out though OP ^^

North and South 4,680
Ignore the a**holes hun, keeners like that never make it far in life. Just focus on your studies, on learning and stick close to your friends. It'll be alright in the end. They sound pretty nasty though. It's hard when classmates are rude or mean, but know that it's not just you who is annoyed by their behaviour and that you're not the only one who has to go through it. URL 440
I dropped AP and trying to drop my pretentious, malicious attitude but all my friends dropped me through that so I'm not sure how to move forward into the new semester.. I'm having a hard time too and it's around the corner but I hope it gets better for you. Ignore them and try focusing in and creating a tight bond with the one person giving you the benefit of the doubt.

vi 625
ugh that's terrible. dw, their elitist attitudes won't get them very far in the long run. hang in there! edit: one thing's for sure though, if you plan to stick w/ it, absolutely make sure that you take the AP test!! Just make fun of them in your head / out loud Yes to the bold I took AP Government last year and the kid I sat next to acted like he was the smartest person ever, and I was like dude half the shit that comes out of your mouth is non sense, but your using big words to make yourself seem smart. Also, when I dropped from AP Calc BC to AP Calc AB someone made me feel bad cause they said I was giving up, but I just knew my limit on how much I could take. Funny enough that person got a 1 on the BC test and I got a 3 on the AB, so I made the right decision Don't pay attention to the people, if you like the teacher then it's fine. AP will benefit your future
Your Bae 3,001
Lol my school's fully of snobby rich kids with straight As, even my ACP classes are as hellish as your AP ones I say roll with it, it will benefit you a ton. If the kids really start to bother you though and/or bother you for a very extended period of time, then telling a teacher is always fine
