SPICA returns to their R&B roots with their b-side release "One Way"

For a long time I've heard a lot of international fans of SPICA asking for them to do an R&B release along the lines of Painkiller. But it never seemed like it would be possible because true R&B songs like that never do well in kpop, especially for girl groups. But it seems like CJ E&M is listening to what international fans have say (a lot of SPICA vids are even coming out English subbed). For SPICA's latest comeback they even included a second song "One Way" which marks a return for SPICA to the R&B sound that they debuted with.

As soon as I heard a snippet of them singing this song at their showcase yesterday, I fell in love with it. I like Secret Time but I LOVE "One Way"!

I still prefer Secret Time, but the song is nice. Honestly though, nothing they've released has topped their first mini for me. The whole mini was so good.

I hope Cjes does right by them. Looking at how Eric Nam has been promoted/releasing music this year, I have high hopes.

They're all delivering vocals on this song but Bohyung killed it. I love the Sihyun, Narae, and Jiwon bridge. Can't believe they managed to squeeze them all into that part without sounding weird.

I want to see the full performance of this song from their showcase!

I like it a lot but I don't love it. It sounds like the typical B side in my opinion, but done right because all the girls in this group are so talented and the production is pretty good.
