I'm curious about something. I know a lot of people are under the impression iKON is a hephap group, a Bigbang wannabe with not so much talent and a bad discography so far. Well, what if they come back with a slower, emotional song like the ones they performed on the chinese show, The Remix?

 

 

Would this change your mind about them and make you a fan or at least make you see them in a new light?

I listen to most things eventually and if I liked the song I would like the group. I actually like all concepts but it seems like they could do this well. So I would make sure to listen to it.

Maybe. I have nothing against iKon tbh, I just don't like hip-hop/rap based groups in general, so they'll have to do anything outside of that box and make it a good song for me to become a listener.

 

That's fair, everyone has their own tastes. But take a look at another performance of theirs until the end to see something a little outside the box  :)

This fits my personal taste much better than what's they've been doing so far, so it would definitely make me more interested in them. The only songs from them I've really liked is Climax and that one Japanese song. 

Climax and Just Go (I think that's the one you're referring to) are the same type of emotional songs like the ones in the op. And Climax especially is liked by fans and nonfans. That's why I thought if they went back to that people would pay attention to them more.

 

I remember that song they sang at the end of WIN

i really liked apology and i think they should do slower songs like that. dumb and dumber was kind of a miss for me

They have Just Go, a special song that they haven't performed yet

vocals should sing more, I like double b's rapping but when they sing, it sounds too harsh imo

These are two of my favourite songs of them. They are a versatile group, they can do hiphop, loud, pop and all kinds of songs but they won our hearts with Climax and the public should know that side of them as well.

As I was saying in the other thread, I think they are experimental and have tried these type of song with Apology, Just go etc and Heroes of Remix has been a blessing as you know. we have seen those been liked even by non fans. I hope they continue to be versatile and improving their vocals. I also hope they keep surprising people who want to pigeonhole them. iKON fighting!!

I looked up his name and he is Jinhwan. I think he looks like Snoopy a bit

Their rendition of Friends is so nostalgic. I remember hearing it so much in my youth. I just kind of enjoy singing my favs singing Chinese songs. Pity with whats going on over there now so I might not get to see much anymore :rlytearpls: note: I use this video as part of my collection to get friends into iKON!
