You all must be so boring in real life. EDIT: Also lol at everyone commenting and they haven't even watched it. He says that a) Tiffany messed up and calling her dumb or careless or ignorant is completely called for. b) However, Tiffany probably didn't mean to upset everyone, why would she do that she was being dumb c) People who are calling for her to die or lose her job are doing something just as if not worse than what Tiffany did. I agree with you that tiffany didn't post the filter to be malicious or to be a traitor and the people who are being extremely nasty to tiffany are wrong. However this was a deeply ignorant and careless mistake and she deserve hate for this ( not the personal attacks though). If you are using the excuse that she's is an american who received an american education instead of a south korean one, then the argument that some knetz are using that she should go back to america then is the correct counter argument. That it is fine if you're not a Korean and don't care about our history or our culture enough to make a mistake like this but then don't live and make money in our country (its the same reasoning behind why you deport non-citizens when they commit crimes in your country) . And honestly the fact that she is an american isn't even a good excuse. You don't have to know a lot about Korean or Asian history to know that the Japanese Imperial flag is taboo in a lot of asian countries. But even without caring about history, if you are working in the entertainment business and you've been actually following you and Tiffany should know that you don't want anything to do with the Japanese Imperial flag. It always causes a scandal. Tiffany is a business woman and it is a part of her job to have a positive public image, her not knowing about this is at the very least, her not being a good business woman. But as an idol, as a public figure, her social media is another place to conduct her business and build up her brand, so that when companies are going to pay her to be their model she can say: " im in snsd and we sell this much, and i have x amount of followers on my instagram, x amount of followers on my snapchat ect., so i should be payed x amount". Her social media is not personal in the slightest, this scandal is more akin to her ruining her business reputation and not her personal one, although they are not mutually exclusive. But although there are benefits of having a social media account as a celebrity there are risks too. This scandal is a perfect example of the risks it show cased just how ignorant and/or careless Tiffany actually is, unfortunately with a very sensitive topic. There is no positive side to this scandal for tiffany, no silver lining. With the exception to the people attacking her personally, any interpretation of this where she is the victim or absolved of responsibility in any way is just simply wrong. So if you are a fan of Tiffany don't make excuses for her because there are none. Instead say it was an honest mistake, correct people on the actual facts, and tell people who are saying thing like she should die to stop. That is the best thing you can do for Tiffany.
