No. And honestly, this is more common than u think. (At least where I'm from.) I've obviously witnessed a fair share of this happening before asking if it'll work out.

Yeah, it probably can.  As nice as honesty is in a relationship, it's not a lie to say that most people have their own secrets they won't share with anyone.

Depends on the degree of the secret, if it's something not really important, then never mind, but if it's a heavy secret, then things will get messy. Best option is to be honest with each other to make things work.

Like with what someone else said, in my opinion, it depends on what 'things' are hidden from both sides.  Some things could be miniscule to you, but your partner might not feel the same.  That's why I believe that honesty is the best policy.  Like the old quote goes, I'd rather be hurt with the truth, than comforted with a lie.

I've never asked the same question twice. It's different, just with a similar theme. It's because I'm facing a similar problem, and idk what to do about it. T.T I want to know if it can work out (from other people's opinion).

I think honesty is necessary to build trust in a relationship, if there's no trust then that relationship has no future imo. I would rather be told the truth than hidden or lied to, but some people may prefer not to know.. so I guess it depends. Either way, the truth always comes out, sooner or later.

I've never get married so don't know? But you r your own person after all, marriage doesn't mean u have to show the other person each and everything, I have secret which I never tell my family too, don't think I have to do so even w my future family.

This, really. If it is something that could potentially affect the relationship or your futures, i think it's important to come clean. Both parties will get hurt when it comes out.
