So I got this information: since ChenLe didn't graduate from middle school, if he wants to enter a high school he has to take this equivalency test to get his middle school diploma. But that equivalency test is only available on June every year at Korea, and now ChenLe hasn't taken this test yet. Considering SOPA's new year starts on March, that means ChenLe won't be able to get in this school since he hasn't gotten his middle school diploma yet.

If ChenLe really needs to wait for another year to get into SOPA (prolly in 2018), then that means ChenLe will be in the same year with Jisung, if both of them do enter SOPA.

So there's a website named zhongchenle.net which used to exist back then (now it has disappeared), and this site was a homepage for ChenLe and ChenLe replied to several comments to fans back then on this site. I'm gonna translate them from the source I found.

 

Translation:

Idk everytime im watching his concert I got goosebump n teary....how in such a young age he achieved almost everything as a singer...and he literally a sunbae for even an EXO LOL

 

And after his duet with his teacher idk what his teacher said but it sounds so touching lol

 

And his birthday is coming really soon...I hope his parents will be attending that private party...

 

I wonder if lele will visiting his hometown shanghai after MAMA...it would be fun if he

Invite dreams member too lol

When ChenLe and the MC had a small convo, amongst the things they said they told a story about ChenLe when he's still 9 years old back then. When ChenLe performed on a concert when he's only 9 years old, there's an incident: since ChenLe performed right after a tall performer, when ChenLe got on stage the mic stand was so high, way too high for ChenLe that it's even way taller than ChenLe. Watching that, the teachers were puzzled and a bit panicking not knowing what to do, since if the teacher got on stage to fix that it would disrupt the stage. But then ChenLe resorted to fix that by himself instead. So he adjusted the mic stand by himself, then continued to perform. Thus the teacher praised ChenLe for being so calm and collected for that. I'm really proud of ChenLe, what a smart kid  :dave:

 

This video is cute, is from when he's 10 years old

 

The things he said:

- he likes singing, especially singing English songs, since he's pretty good at singing English songs

- besides singing, he also likes playing billiard with his dad, swimming with his friends, and playing soccer. In his class, his soccer skill is the best (lol  :hurr:)

- when he grows up he wanna become an astronomer. At his home he often watched astronomy documentary films

- he's joining the program so that he could help the kids who lived at poverty regions buying a school bus

I also think so. I once or twice backtracked this whole ChenLe thread to find pics of him, and I noticed how different he was when he initially debuted compared to now. I saw how he progressed from his seemingly so mature self to start acting cute and all. You can see it from his stage persona too. Initially he just acted all cool and seemingly calm, but then he started to put out more cute acts. I think he acts cute just to fulfill people demand since people like his cute self, and he's like the cute representative of Dream lol When you hear him speaking in Mandarin, you also can hear how more mature and manlier he sounds. Despite all that, I think his hyper and joking self is still his real self though.

I think Haechan likes to act cute more than ChenLe lol I agree with him probably will be the manliest out of Dream later. You can see how intense his gaze is from the Oh Boy photoshoot already.
