Even Lee Hi got YG styled, I dont think Akdong can escaped that which is sad. Out of all their perfs and covers the YG ones are the worst  :sad:

"Right now I am in Japan with Akdong Musician and Lee Hi.

Akdong Musician once said in an interview that Lee Hi would be the most “difficult†artist to befriend. For me, both Akdong Musician and Lee Hi are still a tad “difficultâ€, since they are the latest comers to our agency. I feel that we still need some ice-breaking to do. So using Daesung’s Japan concert as an excuse, I asked them to accompany me to Japan so that I can spend some quality time with them.

On the first day of arrival, their ice has become a lot thinner, thanks to the visit to Disney Land. I joined them later that day for dinner. Frankly, because Soo-hyun, our youngest (which means Lee Hi is no longer the youngest), just turned 15 and others are also just teenagers, I was worried about the generation gap. But I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them and was impressed by their bright and positive attitudes.

Why did Akdong Musician choose YG Entertainment?

 

After Akdong Musician won ‘K-Pop Star 2’, everyone had wondered which entertainment agency they would join. The sister-brother pair chose YG Entertainment in the end, and they revealed the reasons on why they chose YG.

 

The duo were interviewed on the June 12 episode of SBS’ ‘One Night of TV Entertainment’, and explained, “We looked for the place where we could express our music the most. We chose YG because of all the agencies, they listened to our opinions the most.â€

 

On future promotions, Lee Soo Hyuk said, “We don’t have any concrete plans at the moment. But we get a lot of inspiration lately, so we’re writing a lot of music right now because all of that might disappear even if we age by just one year.â€

Akdong Musician are YG Entertainment’s latest recruits, and the pair talked about who was the most difficult to approach in the company.

 

The duo held an interview with SBS’ ‘One Night of TV Entertainment’ on June 12 at the YG Entertainment office in Seoul. When asked about which artist in YG was the hardest to approach, Lee Chan Hyuk said, “Lee Hi sunbaenim is a bit chic and cold, so she’s hard to approach even though she’s my age.â€

 

As Lee Hi is also from ‘K-Pop Star’, hopefully the duo can get close to her soon so she can give them a lot of advice!

People are complaining about Akdong going to YG, but honestly out of the 3 big companies, YG is the best with individual music freedom. 

 

And rather than going to a random nugu company, they can just take advantage of all the attention they can get just by being in YG. Dumb fans. 

 

I think the problem is that people think they are going to push some comebacks back and/or that YG can't handle having so many groups in his company.

On the recent episode of SBS’s “One Night of TV Entertainment,†which was aired on July 10, singer Lee Hi appeared as a special guest.

 

During the interview, she stated, “I was hurt when band Akdong Musician, who recently joined my agency, revealed that I am scary and intimidating. I thought that perhaps the problem is my face.â€

 

Previously, on June 12, Akdong Musician appeared on the same show. When asked who the most difficult senior is in YG, Lee Chan Hyuk replied, “Senior Lee Hi is a bit chic and cold so even when we’re the same age, it’s hard to approach her.â€

 

However, Lee Hi also showed that they are close by stating proudly, “Akdong Musician and I even visited Japan together.â€
