Do people really think next year will be the new girl group? I don't think they're going to "surprise" us with that for a while. I can see 2014, but maybe really late. 2014 will more likely be used to hype the rookies but I think it'll take a bit before an actual debut. SM never fucked SHINee over to the degree that they've fucked over f(x), I don't think that they're going to start treating them differently all of a sudden. I think so too since they've been teasing the public with this new group. They've been really teasing these rookies lately so I think they're gonna have their debut in 2014 and be really concentrated on. Maybe even EXO will get shunned a bit. I don't think any yr will ever really be f(x)'s yr and as such a fan of the group that just makes me sad. Both have been confirmed. f(x), if they are to have one, will come in the summer time May-August, because that's usually around the time they always make a comeback. Though I think SUJU will have one before them. SHINee will probably be in Japan, after the onslaught they did this year and an EXO comeback is certain but I'm guessing the second half of the year since they have one now. TRAX will be coming back from the military so who knows what's in store for them, Dana&Sunday are literally just sitting there and BoA has been quiet since this summer. Sulli's scheduled to start filming another movie as soon as filming for the one she's currently in finishes. Vic has just started filming for a drama in China and is scheduled to soon star in another once the show is approved by the Chinese government. With the popularity of Heirs, Krystal is surely likely to pick up another drama role soon. So where's the time for multiple comebacks? At this point, as an f(x) fan I'm learning to just accept that f(x) won't have a ton of comebacks like other groups. Instead, we have members who are building their already successful careers for when their time as an idol ends. And when we do get comebacks, the music is great. f(x) is so popular already with little promotion from SM. Their album sales are second only to SNSD, and they do well digitally (although admittedly RPPP was not their best year) Most of us fans are just peeved because f(x) could be HUGE with just a LITTLE push from SM. I feel like in 2014, the girls will be more focused on individual activities, though I'd like to see more of them together. There's also a chance of a new group debuting next year. It's possible; just look at the debut dates from previous sm groups. So then sm would be more focused on them like when exo debuted. I just hope for another awesome 2014 f(x) comeback at least. lovergurl 2,564 Posted December 25, 2013 Share Posted December 25, 2013 SNSD and TVXQ are making a comeback in the first half of the year and then SJ are set to make their comeback after Leeteuk is discharged on top of an EXO comeback most likely so I don't really see it happening. The big ones took a break this year or in SNSD's case, came back very early in the year so they had time to focus on Shinee but that's not the case for 2014. For tge others tho Sm 2013: 3 comebacks for shinee and exo 1 comeback for snsd, fx and boa 0 comeback for suju and tvxq ... I think you dont get it why f(x) fans "make" a big deal. while those other groups skipped their korean promotion, they had their Japanese release, Sub-units, concerts. and we all know f(x) wont get any of that if they skip a year of promotion.
