Daum Cafe: College students, agree or not?

-I agree, I've grown apart with some of my high school friends

-Nah, I have friends in college but I'm happier and more comfortable when I'm with my high school friends

-Kinda true tho! I met my best friend in one of my classes in university

-It's been years since I graduated college and the bond I have with three friends is still are strong as ever. They're some of the best people I've met in life

-I didn't have many friends in college and high school but I met more friends when I worked part-time jobs

-The way I interpret this picture is it's true that you're close to college friends but you force yourself to keep in touch with high school friends

-Most people won't agree with me but making friends in college is hard

-I'm jealous of people who met many friends in college...I was a loner

-It's different for everybody

My friendship with my best friend from high school has been going strong ever since 2007. We have a brother sister friendship and we'll always be there for each other. We have the best times when ever we're together. She's married and has 2 kids. I am good friends with her husband and I'm like an uncle figure to her 3 year boy.

It's really sad. I've grown apart from almost all of my high school friends except for my bestfriend/girlfriend. We've known each other since middle school and now we're going to the same college, taking the same classes and living together. Nothing can tear us apart. :rlytearpls:

But we do miss our other friends... I'm hope they're doing well in life, at least.

I speak to 'some' of my high school/middle school/elementary school friends on occasion (like 2 times a year if one of us comments on a status or something. But thats about it.)

In university, well i dont really have a bunch of friends tbh. Everyones too busy working or volunteering/interning or all we are is study buddies + each others references. These arent deep friendships at all. Maybe its my fault but i honestly dont even care lol.

My deepest friendships that i have made to this day came from community college :), aka the time you finished high school and are not so serious in life yet and just want to discover and do everything.

It's weird bc most of my friends who are in college, I see them on a daily basis.
The only people from high school that I talk to on a daily basis are my boyfriend and my cheerleading squad bc I see them 4/5 days a week during the school year and sometimes on the weekends and then 3/7 days during the summer, sometimes more.

I'm close to both my high school and college friends but I don't think I can ever have the same relationship I have with my high school friends with anyone else.

We may not see each other as often but when we do, we just pick up where we last left off. I'm also much more as ease with them...I guess it's because they've seen me at my worse lol.

my university friends are closest to me because we're still together in the same field even working.

however my most precious and reliable bff is my two kindergarten bestest friends who I can rely on whenever I have problems.

I think it depends on the situation... I still have close friends from elementary school and high school but I became reserved as I got older and I don't really have friends in college
