Ichigo and Rukia were never going to end up together. I had a feeling that Rukia and Renji would end up together for a while now and except for a short time (about the time Rukia was imprisoned) it was always obvious that Ichigo would end up with Orihime (or possibly that violent short haired human girl).

Why? Who else would Orihime date? Ichigo's role is similar to Goku's in Dragon Ball, he doesn't show much affection towards his love interest at all, but he's protective.

Kubo f*ckd up real bad with the ships. Some Ichihime fans are bringing up how we just hate orihime. It really has nothing to do with us hating orihime. Its bc orihime had a one sided f'n love that ichigo never even showed any time of hint/interaction that would make us go like oh maybe there is something. Same for renji and rukia. Half of their relationship was a brother sister/best friend relationship with no real spark. Like WTF!! Rukia and ichigo had so many interactions and sparks that it was hard to just pass it off. Thats wat pissess me of the most. Why base the story on ichigo and rukia with the touching relationship scenes then? this is just tragic. Even if u make a new chapter showin how this happened, it still wont make sense bc there really was nothing we saw between ichigo and orihime or rukia and renji. I saw sparks between Orhime & Ulquiorra and i started shipping that cuz we actually felt something there. For god's sake half of bleach + the bleach movie was about how ichigo and rukia having a bond that no one else had. FU KUBO!!!! say bye to ur career cuz u messed with the wrong ship a*s hole

Lmaooo I'm so dead @Bleach ending. I dropped the series after Aizen arc but after a long time then I start picking it up again.

I already gave away all my shit to not read it seriously so yeah, I know the ending is going to bitter like this.

I'm very bitter cuz one of my very first ship didnt become canon. I cant take a blow like this anymore after Ulqihime sinked. Also there's too many plot hole

But something I can never forgive this manga is that Rukia aka my all time favorite manga female character went from a main character to a totally irrelevant side character. I really had my hopes high when Urahara's last words were "Sorry for leaving everything to you KUROSAKI, KUCHIKI". Yet she did nothing major

Also, they killed Unohana to give spotlight to Kenpachi but it was so pointless that I wanted to cry

ikr... Kenpachi got lots of power ups but it had no effect. And Unohana's character was wasted.

I can't at people who try to justify and legitimate that garbage ending. Nothing made sense, tons of things Kubo actually promised he would touch on were left forgotten, and let's not even talk about the ships - all of which barely had any development and make no fucking sense whatsoever if you take into account the characters' interactions throughout the manga.

But then, again, Bleach has been going downhill for a while, with that last arc being a piss-poor parody of what used to be a good manga. I think the biggest factor in that is that Kubo failed to realise - or forgot - one of the main reasons why Bleach got so popular to begin with: it was Ichigo, Rukia, and their dynamic. Even if they didn't end up together, I can't understand why he let go of that essential aspect of the series, when most of the few last fans were only holding on to it for that reason. Like, for real. People kept on ranting about wanting to go back to the "Substitute shinigami arc" or the "Soul Society" arc.

And finally, I just find it dumb that he chose an "happily married with kids" ending à la Naruto when it doesn't even really fit the manga. What Bleach needed was actual closure on - if not everything - most things that were dragging on for years. And we got none of that.

If rumors are true that he plans on releasing a "next gen" series, he can shove it up his ass. Who with a sane mind would want that ._. ?

My apologies if I sound rude. I'm just completely frustrated because for years, I had been defending this manga, for years I had been telling people to trust Kubo to at least give us a decent ending. Yet he zombie-powdered us hard on this one.

No wonder why the Japanese fandom is livid right now tbh.

So many unanswered questions and so little development from all characters.
Heck, Kubo wasted all those Ichigo-Rukia bond that he built over the years. Fullbring Arc shouldn't have happened in the first place.

I got so worked up with Bleach's ending because I've followed it for almost a decade, and I do think readers don't deserve to have this type of ending (never mind that my ship sunk).

IchiHime and RenRuki works tho. Both the relationship got foundation and they care about each others for a long time that it's possible it could grow into love during the time gap between the fight and them having kids. Rukia relationship with Ichigo doesn't seem to work as a couple....they got that sister/bro vibe thing going. And I always thought Renji probably got romantic feelings for Rukia since academy days but Kubo never focused on romance so.....

Also I support pairings bc it worked out that they married people from their own world + allow Rukia to become captain with Renji supporting her.....unlike Kishi's making the girls housewives and shit. Sakura trained under A FUCKING SEININ to be practically a single house mom with a husband that's MIA like 90% of the time on some missions. Sasuke was dick to his friends and now a failure as a dad to his kid :imstupid:

It's nothing like NaruHina or SakuSasu so idg why people think this is worst than that. Naruto barely interacted with Hinata and then they tried to make it happen in the movie by connecting them with magical memory lake and suddenly dumbass Naruto tells Hinata he loves her literally 2 days after he found out about her feelings when he never got strong feelings for her.

Sasuke never liked Sakura in that way and he even tried to kill Sakura and Sakura is a dumbass to still like him for that. Respect yourself girl.

I mean IchiHime makes no~ sense. It takes fucking two and they've had virtually no interaction, much less meaingful interaction throughout the entire damn story, especially compared to other characters. Only exception being when he and the crew went to save her in Hueco Mundo, and that's even a fraction, because how many times throughout that saga did they even actually speak to one another. How many times was it of any legit standout substance.

RukiRenji makes no goddamn sense. There was no development for that whatsoever. You could have made the argument that Renji might have felt something for Rukia that was romantic, but then you'd have the same problem as IchiHime. They don't see those people that way. You can't just remedy all of that with a little bit of sudden possible vagueness in a panel or two in one chapter after fifteen years.

That is a goddamn lie. IchiHime made the most sense and I'm pretty sure plenty can be given to you as to why in the manga. But I doubt you'd cared like you've done the past 15 years. It's no one's fault that you and others (IchiRuki shippers, really) ignored it.

Anyway, getting into it isn't going to go anywhere because it'll end as it always has and it's just over. IchiHime are canon, Bleach is done.

And the fact that this is the worst thing you could say about the Bleach ending when you have a bunch of unresolved plots speaks for itself.

Fuck

first Harry and Hermione

now Ichigo and Rukia

I'm never shipping shit again

I'm surprised some of the people who didn't read the book were influenced by movies and considered Harry and Hermione to be a romantic relationship. If you had read the books, Harry was telling Ron that he saw Hermione as sister like. And there was nothing really romantic between them. When I read all the series, I never saw Hermione and Harry as romantic. In fact, Harry saw them as his family.  I When I read all the series, I never saw Hermione and Harry as romantic. In fact, Harry saw them as his family.love their deep friendship. Ichiruki also had this kind of friendship. Romantic communication does not revive in my head.

Ichihime was not as good as ichiruki but I don't think it was out of nowhere either. Same goes for renruki. Was I disappointed? Yes!! But I was a lot more disappointed with the lose ends and all the build up for nothing tbh -_-

Also I think there was more ichihime in the manga than in the anime, so those who picked up the manga after the anime (like I did initially) were a lot more confused LOL
