Rene. 2,660 Posted August 18, 2016 Share Posted August 18, 2016 I get it...you didn't like LOTTO...it doesn't suit your taste, but could you maybe stop making so many threads or comments about how bad EXO's songs are becoming or what musical flops they are now You guys complain about knetz shoving their opinions, how about apply that to yourself The same thing happened with EX'ACT...people were bandwagoning hate on it so much, that others were just joining and increasing the mess...after it calmed down, many people actually said they liked the album but were confused before...and if my memory is right many people hated CMB when it was released Music tastes differ from person to person As for me, I loved the song, not the autotune so much, but its really catchy and has a nice beat...every song will be different than earlier ones, no need to compare Also EXODUS is one of its kind...it will be very difficult for EXO themselves to create another album as iconic as it Peace. It's not can't, but won't. For some reason, SM is insistent on altering EXO's style, which is not a bad thing at all. It's nice to change it up. However, I just hope they don't take it too far or it could alienate some of their fans musically. SM obviously has more lit tracks like Reservoir Idol and Do it together. For whatever reason, they chose not to include it. Personally, for me I really like Lotto. I have always liked T-pain songs and other tracks from mid-2000s. But like you said it is preference and it would be nice if people did not like the song the would either shut up about it or move on from it. But people aren't like that sadly. It gives me different vibe, a manly vibe and that matters. It's just 9 hours since their release. But people aren't like that sadly. the bolded tho in my opinion, they were at their best with Growl as it sounded as true kpop (not the current americanized version) that didn't revolve around english buzz words. it was a bop that could have international appeal without sacrificing that specific korean feel if SM goes too international in EXO's music then i'd rather listen to international tracks because there won't be any change or specificity to the group compared to million others I just hope EXO doesn't lose that specific feel (that i can't really decribe) that they had during growl era and even overdose. i understand it's hard to repeat the same magic twice, but they should definitely not just rely on the same producers LDN for their music Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So as much as I agree with the whole stop jumping on hate bandwagon sentiment, maybe both sides should chill a bit? After all the majority of people who are not fans of lotto are that way because they don't like this abuse of autotune, and not the song itself. I'll be happy to support exo in their activities even if I'm not a fan of this comeback, and even if I or other people will like Lotto for some reason later on, we still have the right to do so without this "yall fake bitches you said you hated lotto" attitude. So yeah people just need to chill. But I agree about "I want it to flop" thing, it's extremely childlish. Personally I thought I would dislike the song while watching the leaked dance practice, but I actually liked it after it came out. I get that people's tastes are subjective & they're entitled to that, but bandwagon hating on a group is so excessive & immature to me tbh.
