just because some people like kpop as well as rap/hip hop doesn't mean that they're dick riders off a few artists... but that said, i agree with you to some extent... however it can be said that kpop fans been hating on B since the whole BTS incident

+418 My J Aight well say that you can like kpop and rap that's nothing but lumping liking kpop rap together. In the song "become a slave to black music" Well if it wasn't for ills of society like slavery = no true hip hop music. People who go through oppression and other shit can't be on the same level on the psychological pyramid to have the same needs. Someone towards the bottom lacking many things will not give a fuck about people spittin about money, love, etc. And i don't come off as lumping everyone as dick riders but too many are, they just loving and hatin based on looks. Brainwashed to their sight it makes me sick. this is music we're not watching movies hell there should be no such thing as a m/v in the first place,(which fucking idiot created a m/v?), should be comparing with your ears but nah.

Type b-free - see what i see on youtube search and you'll see what i see, in the commentary. Some brainwashed foo saying b-free's music is worse because he's old lmfao. My "nightmare" are you peeps who have no left side of the brain. No way to be creative or think for yourselfs or in any logical way.

+NewEraHustler i agree with you, kpop is a heavily visual centered industry which is the main reason for its downfall.... rap on the other hand as you said is about portraying your feeling and emotions though music, which has no need for such things as music videos or visual appeal..  But how can you be so quick to judge people based off the fact that they like a certain genre or area of music? Who's to say that a person interested in kpop isn't very knowledgable in other areas of the music industry?

+418 My J I'll make it simple because you clearly didn't understand what i was saying. no way in hell can a person who listens to TRUE hip-hop, there are many forms i admit. I'm talking about what made hip-hop what it is and created it. Going through struggles because of fucked up things we made such as "money", "government", etc. People who CARE ABOUT HIP-HOP DO NOT LIKE THINGS LIKe K-pop. Simple as that. Music says a lot like i said "most" also said "I don't wanna come off as lumping everyone into the same category" because yes there are people who aren't. But interests say ALOT about people.

Knowledgable in other areas LOOOOOL, sorry  but like i said idgaf that you people don't even know what real music is. But on the other hand i don't CARE. Like i said the people with the "finer things in life" Will not care about hip-hop, they will have no awarness, no concerns, no aspects on any of it. That's where the line is drawn in this whole argument.

Please even for your sake not sounding like a dipshit go around saying kpop is music.

+NewEraHustler You know that I was agreeing with you right? up until this point that is "People who CARE ABOUT HIP-HOP DO NOT LIKE THINGS LIKe K-pop"  like seriously how can you be so fucking ignorant? ill just use myself as an example for your sake, you're saying that because i like a few kpop groups that i can't possible CARE about hip hop? what the fuck dude? I see your fucking user name on nearly EVERY rap video i fucking watch, and i'm even subscribed to your fucking ass for god sake... so how the fuck can you not say that i don't even know what real music is when we share the same interests and musical tastes? The mere fact that such a person like me exists who loves raps/hiphop and likes kpop proves your fucking point to be invalid. Hip hop as you said is mainly about portraying your life story, whether it be the struggles or achievements.

Also Kpop does not have to be liked for the musical aspect, most of the people who like groups are mainly in it for, as you said, their visuals or in some cases their personalities. Of i listen to kpop, but it doesn't mean that it's the main type of music i listen to, people can love hip hop for the lyricism and subject matter and at the same time love kpop for the visual aspects because both genres do not cater to both aspects at the same time.

TLDR - You can't like Hip-Hop/rap, if you like K-pop. Because Kpop is not real music and people who listen to k-pop don't know what real music is and can't comprehend the whole genre and culture of hip-hop and rap

Lol that's funny.

I actually listen to hip hop and kpop

I probably listen to more hip hop than I do kpop and I've been exposed to it a lot more than the latter so it's just funny

I don't know why some people think you can't like a certain type of music that apparently "contradicts" the other

They are acting like delulu Jehova Witnesses.

It is his opinion , but he clearly can't say that unless he has met every Kpop fan out there.

I love Kpop, but my soul belongs to music in general , may it be classical, mainstream, hip hop, rnb, rap or whatever.

If l like the song and/or I feel it speaks to me , then it is real music to me.

The same person who humiliated RapMon and Suga in one meeting just because they switched from underground to Kpop.

Like wtf.

He's like a fangirl obsessed with oppars.

He cannot like state that "People who likes Hiphop doesn't like Kpop" because that is complete bullshit.

Who is he to say that? -.-

I knew this would be about B-Free when reading the OP title  that guy is so predictable...

funny how kings and queens of khiphop like Drunken Tiger respect kpop and idols because they have some class. while that shitty guy should focus on his music before insulting and making a bad name of his community. i mean the rock community like Nell never said trash about CNBLUE for example... it's only making a bad reputation over hip hop music in general...  :>_>:

I guess Snoop is no longer a hip-hop artist, cause his guilty pleasure is K-Pop.

well snoop is actually nominated for Best Reggae album in the upcoming Grammys so...you might be right.

It's not just Hip Hop elitists who think this; Pretty much any elitist for every genre of music (except pop...cuz there's nothing in pop to "elite" about) thinks kpop...or pop in general, is inferior, shallow and useless.

Hip Hop is a culture. not a genre of music.  True hip hop is about Peace, Love, Unity, Having fun and Knowledge.  The 5 elements of Hip hop are 1.MC'ing - Rap, 2. DJ'ing, 3. Grafitti - Aerosol art, 4. Dance - Breaking, Popping and locking, the final element which hold them together is 5. Knowledge.
