College days. 9 of my schoolmates cried and their bags were being stolen (with huge amount of money inside + gadgets). While I, was kinda loading (I was nervous too). When one of the 3 men tried to get my backpack, I snatched it back and said "dont!" and gave them my mp3 player. Inside my bag was my phone and money. They then left. I have stood up to school bullies before, especially the bullies that would picking on disable students, but I don't think that was heroic. When my house was on fire I also made sure to shut off the gas and get everyone out of the house, but I don't think that was heroic either (definitely impressive for an 8 year old to do that though!)I just don't tend to panic until I am out of danger, I stay calm, and that helps me prioritize things. I lose my shit the moment I am out of danger though, I think I cried for hours that night. Very loudly too...whaling type of cries. Like when someone pushed my friend down the stairs in high school I didn't try to beat her up, cause frankly I can't. It had a hurt wing and wasnt in good condition.. i gave water and tried to feed it and made sure our neighbors cat wouldn't eat him. i wouldn´t say its heroic tho, coz it was done out of love and out of care.
