Politically active sex worker Hande Kader was last seen getting into a client's car - and her body was finally identified by prosthetics at the city morgue

The badly-burned body of a young transgender woman who went missing last week has been found BURNT by the side of a road in Istanbul.

It is the latest in a series of hate crimes in Turkey shocking the LGBT and international community.

Sex worker Hande Kader was last seen getting into a client's car - and her partner raised the alarm and filed a missing persons' report when she did not return last week.

Despite being badly mutilated, the 22-year-old's body - found in the upmarket neighbourhood of Zekeriyakoy - was finally identified by prosthetics at the city morgue.

Politically active, Kader had been photographed participating in protests and demonstrations for LGBT rights.

She had reportedly even been arrested for doing so on at least one occasion.

Kader's friends took to Facebook in anger following the news of her death - one of them claiming that the "common mongrels" who had carried out the attack will one day "pay the price".

The chilling incident comes less than two weeks after the murder and decapitation of a gay Syrian refugee just a few miles from where Kader's body was found.

Muhammed Wisam Sankari had settled in Istanbul after fleeing the ongoing conflict in Syria was found dead after having been raped and beheaded.

Hande Kader was also politically active

His body was so badly mutilated that he was only identifiable by the clothes he was wearing.

The Turkish city has been a haven for many fleeing persecution and war in neighboring Syria and Iraq - however hate crimes against LGBT people have soared recently.

Also I'm recommed y'all to watch the video in the credit I can't embed that in here. In there women complaning about how mainstream media keep quiet about the LGBTQ people's situation in the country and illegiminate act of cops toward Pride. (Tear gas, water cannon vehicle, plastic bullet etc.)

Now the hashtag #HandeKadereSesVer  Turkish netizens create to spread the news is trending worldwide.

She isn't the first or last LGBT person who killed in Turkey probably her murderers not even gonna found or doesn't get the 'enoguh' sentence.

Being sex worker is the only businness oppurtunity for trans women in Turkey and since she is a sex worker public scorn her and 'react normally2 to her death.

I just has no words anymore I hope I could understand what I want with my broken english.

I can't even imagine the pain this person went through. It doesn't even sound like it was quick or painless. screaming out for help and probably just being thrown dirty words and more torment. I hate this. I hate the people who do this. Its incidents like this that makes me thankful to be America where we have certain freedom and rights people in other countries just don't have. I'm so sorry. I hope they rest in peace. At least the suffering is over for them. Hope the bastards that did it burn in hell. I really do.  :._.:

unfortunately Turkey is slowly morphing into an Islamic State. And with an overwhelming majority of Turks supporting their dictator president, trans and lgbt people are in more danger than ever.

I will pray for the author's to get worst punishment but ı have no hope. Mainstream media didn't even air anything about it yet

the only turkish celeb i know who spoke about the lgbt community is beren saat!

i think thats one of the reasons why people havent said anything because the media hasnt posted it! i mean i watched turkish news today and none mentioned this case!

Can we just drop a nuke on Istanbul and Ankara and be done with it? I don't want a disgusting extremist fascist dictatorship this close to Europe.

i dont like the president either but chilllllllllllll

That the president is a cunt was already well established, but it's the people of Turkey, coming out in it's millions, cheering for dictatorship, cheering for fascism, cheering for murder that has left me unsettled...Turkey has the past month become a horrible place and the people living there have shown their true colours, being horrible, hate filled people...and frankly, I do not want the Western world to have to live with such a horrible place right next door...like build a massive wall between Turkey and Greece, force all Turkish people to leave the EU, do SOMETHING...I feel betrayed, years of standing up for Turkey and the Turkish people, saying they are good people truthfully, and they should not be considered as bad as the Islamic extremists of the region...only for them to prove they are just as bad...this is not the kind of country the EU should want right next door...we have already heavily militarized the borders to Russia...why not Turkey?...

There are literally people getting death threats and getting their businesses vandalized here in the Netherlands because "that is how the Turkish people show they are loyal to their home country"...say what you want there is a hardcore disgusting movement among a massive majority of Turkish people to use violence against people who disagree with them and if they think that is the way to deal with things, fine...we will answer those ideologies with the treatment they are calling for.

And if you disagree with the way of thinking being put forward by the Turkish government, better keep quiet, because then it's just a matter of time before you start getting death threats...that is just the way the Turkish people apparently think you treat people...

I live in London so the turkish people here seem to think the same or do not care if you dont like him or not! so no i havent received any death threats lol

and why are people getting their shops vandalised in the Netherlands? im confused.

i dont think the majority of turkish people resort to things with violence, thats generalising again!

i dont see the point of us continuing this anymore, your reasoning right now and thought process behind this is insane. You can dislike the people who support erdogan, you can dislike the people who are fascist etc, but dont blame an entire race/country because of people like that! (i dont like him either btw)

yes lots of people went out during the recent military coup because erdogan said so but some went out because they really believed the military was trying to oppress them or something. (not to mention, the videos of the tanks running over people hasnt helped either)

In the thread of the military coup, i thought you had made reasonable posts discussing why the coup had started and the reasons why erdogan should be gone. but by now suggesting that all turkish people in the eu should leave because some support erdogan is ignorant.

your better then this, come on.

however if you mean the people who support erdogan and are being violent etc, i can understand why you would want them gone but yet again, they do not represent all.
