i heard that LiYing is attending the Golden Eagle Festival (?) on her birthday. is the ceremony a prestigious one? and what is she nominated for?

She is nominated for Best Actress. It is prestigious, some people consider it China's Emmy. It is held every two years. Last time it was held , in 2014, Zhao Liying won the Golden Goddess award. I am really hoping she wins but she is going against Liu Tao, who also had some hits this past year.

 

Nice compilation of her roles over the years. Up to Female Prime Minister in 2013, she just had multiple small roles in many dramas. She started acting in 2006. She really came a long way due to her own effort since she had no connections in the industry.

Fans have been voting to increase the chances of getting ZLY and award on her bday. 57million I know ZLY did a Q&A recently and told them to take care of themselves that having them as fan was the best present. They really went to town, I hope ZLY wins.

this is random, but has anyone watched cuo dian yuan yang? i recently finished the first series and i liked it haha . I'm planning to watch the second one but my national exams are starting this week. i havent even continue Rouge. ZLY is making it hard for me to halt my watching dramas activities zzz

those who have watched the second series of CDYY, is it worth it?

Today ends Rookie Agent, it will finish broadcast with 5 billion views. The Mystic Nine finished with 10 billion and Chusen will probably finish with 22-23 billion. We won't see ZLY again on TV until next year in Princess Agents

 

Also Viki just licensed The Legend of Chusen.

So I got too much time and was doing some snooping around Celine Gu's weibo (the writer of the rumoured drama adaptation) and she is following ZLY, WC, and ZLY's main manager. I dont think they would sign up for a drama but She followed them recently too. At the very least she likes ZLY. Maybe she was watching The Mystic Nine.

oh my i hope she really gets the role! i want a modern drama for zly since its been quite awhile(?)

Apparently, the wax figure is going to be biyao but i was kinda hoping for Xiaogu as it was her breakthrough role.

 

 

 

I can't remember what best to meet you is about but i do remember it was a pretty enjoyable read. This will be a good drama for her if the male lead is selected correctly.

 

i followed some of her fanbase and apparently they said its not gonna be biyao, but of course im not really sure how true it is also. but yeah, i agree w u. Qian Gu is her breakthrough role and deserves a wax figure

Ohh since you read it, who do you see as the male lead? I read he is suppose to be much older. So far I have seen rumors about Wang Kai bc he is under the production company and Yang Shuo. I was thinking maybe Wallace Chung would be okay.

hmm i dont really know a lot of actor so i cant comment on that. but Wang Kai will be nice,, imagine the visuals!
