How to arouse people's concern/gain their support for the lgbtqia community?

The social service group I have joined is going to hold some events for the pride parade in my city. We need some ideas of what souvenir we can give out with relevant theme. For example, last year they give out candies wrapped in a paper like a lollipop and deliver some messages through that lollipop wrapping.

 

This year we have thought about themes like communication/understanding(both straight and gay work together for equality) but still haven't got ideas of how to package the ideas.

 

It would be great if you can brainstorm with me :D

 

P.S our target are those audience who stand aside and watch the parade.

 

Btw anyone notice that skittles make their package white on IDAHO, their message was to leave the rainbow for the community to be the only rainbow. That is quite creative tho(of course our group won't have this much budget haha)

Thank you~ actually we are using this on another event, idk if you have heard of pink dot. We will make paper fans on theme about love yourself and deliver on that day ;D but still many thanks
